The stay could’ve been better for sure.
Pros:

The breakfast, and close to the beach!!

Cons:

We went without power the day after. And was out the whole day. Till evening time. We checked out our room early to go home cause we had 3 toddlers in the room with us. Who didn’t like the dark or not able to watch tv or anything…. And some of staff was rude. Not to mention has to change rooms when first got there cause the fridge didn’t work, And the pull out couch bed was broken 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Clean room, but pool could not be used.
Pros:

The staff was friendly the room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

We choose this location for the pool. It was indoor and way to cold for my 7 year old granddaughter to swim. It was also very dark in the pool room. For this reason, wanting a pool, we would not come back to this location.

It could have been worse but definitely won’t be back.
Pros:

The room was decently clean.

Cons:

The staff looked very unprofessional and the lobby was filthy. The room was clean enough we were comfortable but even there the couches were stained and we tried to just not look too closely. Anytime we stepped out of our room we were met with dirt. The doors into the hotel were smudged and filthy. The window at the end of our hall was cracked and dirty. So many things that could have been better with a simple clean.

We won't stay there again due to lack of friendly staff and questionable cleanliness.

The location was great. Also, the room gave us the space we needed.

Cons:

The staff person at the front desk was not friendly. She was watching TV and, although she did acknowledge us when we approached the desk, she didn't seem happy about it. The room was not as clean as I prefer. There was dried ice cream or some kind of food on the night stand. Also, the bathroom had a sour smell and I wondered how sanitized it really was. It made me a bit uncomfortable but I wiped a couple things off and made the best of it. There was one man working there who was very nice and seemed to be working hard. We appreciated him. I will NOT stay there again.

Pros:

The room was clean and lots of space. It’s our second time staying here. We will be back! Location is great. Not far from downtown South Haven and beach!

Cons:

Need some outdoor sitting space for guest.
