Facilities were good. Location was close but not too close thus reducing the noise of the touristy area making the hotel area more tranquil and relaxing.
Pool area sometimes had beds with towels on (reserving beds) with people not on them for a reasonable time period. The hotel might want to implement a system whereby a staff member does a quick hourly 5minute check to keep a tab on how long reserved beds have been unoccupied for.
Beautiful hotel with wonderful gardens.
Loved it all.
The room we stayed in was magnificent - 16th century chapel with original paintings. Dinner was excellent with the amazing Roman mosaic beneath
Nothing
This is a lovely hotel in a very good location, with friendly and attentive staff. The swimming pool is relatively small, but it is very refreshing and perfect for cooling down.
The restaurant is pleasant, although not particularly memorable. There is also a beautiful outdoor terrace, but unfortunately, it was too hot to enjoy it during our stay.
Overall, we had a very good experience and I would happily stay at this hotel again.
A bit ifrån center
We had a lovely one-night stay at Hospes Palacio del Bailío, using Marriott points for our visit. The hotel is beautifully designed and has a wonderful sense of calm — it feels like its own private oasis away from the busyness of the city.
The pool area was a real highlight and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The room was comfortable, although it was a little smaller than I had expected.
The location is excellent, right in the centre of Córdoba, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Despite being so central, the hotel feels peaceful and secluded, creating a lovely escape from the outside world.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Hospes Palacio del Bailío. It is a beautiful property with a fantastic location and a unique atmosphere, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Córdoba.
Interesting, historic. Great outdoor spaces for dining in the evening and around the pool. Food in the courtyard restaurant was very good.
Our room was a bit dark and needed updating. Ceiling outside/near our room fell apart and was leaking. Breakfast was okay, not great.
The whole experience went well.
We had pre dinner drinks in the garden but found the staff uanable, or unwilling to re arrange the tables so that we could seat 4 of us in an amicable manner. The explanation was not logical at all.
The garden was not well lit at night to cross from the main buiding to our bedroom. Maybe sensor lights would help after dark. Small details but room for improvement.
