Good location, friendly service, terrible lighting
Pros:

An agreeable stay in a good location with friendly staff. However, the lighting in the room (and reception) was terrible in that it was all very cool, blue light. There wasn’t a single warm light on the property, which made the whole place seem cold and sterile. It would be very simple to change to some ‘warm while’ globes, at the very least in the bedside lamps in the bedrooms and standing lamps in the living areas. In reception, that change would make the property far more cosy and inviting.

Great location and comfortable room :)
Pros:

Location was great and the size of the room was very comfortable it was great having a balcony too

Cons:

The only negative was there was no allocated space to stop our car for check in. We went around the block a couple of times trying to work out how to deal with that when we had booked parking during our stay

Spacious, well-equipped apartment in the heart of Brisbane CBD
Pros:

After our3-night stay, we would heartily recommend the Oaks on Margaret. There is a heated pool. The apartment is spacious, with a balcony and a well-equipped kitchen. The reception staff are friendly and efficient and seemed INTERESTED in us and keen to make our stay pleasant. A request to split a king bed into two singles was effected cheerily, speedily and efficiently. The hotel is well-placed if you are relying on public transport and is close to many coffeeshops and restaurants.
