Overall worth the stay for my family before our cruise
Pros:

Location was great. Very convenient to Walmart. Short ride to cruise terminal. Ample parking.

Cons:

Pool was broke. Host was hesitant on giving additional towels and questioned the amount of people sleeping in the 4 rooms I booked to accommodate everyone. There were only 3 sets of towels in each room. Each room had 4 people booked. I needed extra towels for every room.

Excellent stay, affordable, ultra clean, great location, across the street from the beach!!
Pros:

Affordable, comfortable, quiet, ultra clean, right across the street from the beach, balcony (no view for me - but that was ok). Reasonable breakfast(cereal, muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, toast, juice, coffee) but there’s a Golden Corral for weekend breakfast right next door. Short trip to cruise port, I found a shuttle for $10! Overall great stay for the price.

Cons:

I have no complaints. Excellent location and affordable for my 2 night stay.

Best Hilton Hotel in Galveston
Pros:

A very good hotel right on the beach. It’s the best Hilton hotel in the area and offers excellent value for money. The best part is that the rooms have balconies where you can open the windows. In the U.S., this isn’t usually possible because all hotels are air-conditioned. Here, you can enjoy fresh sea air whenever you want.

There are other Hilton hotels in the area. However, in my opinion, they’re overpriced and don’t offer any added value. That’s why I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay. It’s affordable and has everything you need. Free coffee is included, which is common in many budget hotels. At the more expensive chains, you have to pay extra for coffee. So, a full 5 stars!

Pros:

The hotel is not fancy but super clean, amazing friendly staff, and very conveniently located by everything. Even with a lot of kids at the hotel it was super quiet at night. Shower was hot and had good pressure.

I tried calling for almost two weeks before our stay multiple days to ask questions about the deposit, breakfast, ect and NEVER got an answer. That was very frustrating and when I arrived I asked why and didn’t get an explanation. I saw this company comment on someone’s review to “reach out to the hotel” for concerns which is actually impossible when they don’t answer the phone! When we arrived to our room the key wasn’t working so I tried using my Hilton app key and it said the deadbolt was locked, kinda scared me as I thought someone was in our room. I got a staff member to come up with me and they said the door is broken and locks from the inside and didn’t offer me another room which left me feeling unsecured. Especially with it being us 2 girls staying alone. We booked a 2 bed and only got two towels, when I called down on our room phone asking for more towels I was told I had to walk down and get them my self. Overall the staffing and customer service is the worst I’ve ever had and I’ve stayed at many hotels. Will not be back. I’m usually someone to always look at the positive side of things and never write bad reviews, but this has to be said to hopefully change how the staff treat guests.

Would stay there again.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Seating was a problem.
Parking was plentiful and easy to get to using the elevator. Signage pointing to the parking area could be improved.

Cons:

Check-in was not good. Took 30 minutes to get to front of the line and we started out at #3. Clerk was on the phone with the owner constantly. Having a second person at the front desk on the days before a cruise ship sailing would help a lot, as would having a trained clerk.

Nothing. Thankfully only there 2 nights.

Cons:

Where to start. The fact that I checked in early and they had all day to have my room ready and failed too and gave me another room with a crappy view.

The rooms floors so un even my suit kept rolling into wall.

Couldn't stand in shower it was so slick.

Breakfast was an absolute joke. Basically a choice of 2 cereals and what looked to be bad milk.

You get what you pay for…
Pros:

The location was great. Nearly across the street from the beach. Not a far walk at all.

Cons:

There was only one employee working the entire establishment on a Friday night. Lines at the front desk were long. The common areas are like putting lipstick on a pig. They slapped on a coat of paint throughout the hotel and a few trendy pieces of art.
When we got into our room there was feces splashed all over the toilet seat. Super gross.

After standing in the line for the front desk (again) I explained the situation and the guy moved us to a new room immediately. No issues there. But if the cleaning crew missed the toilet seat in the first room, it did not fill us with much confidence of cleanliness in the new room.
