Location wasnt great for a first timer
Pros:

The view from our room was amazing, especially at night time it was better than going to the bund.

Cons:

I didn't realise the location was so far away from all the good food and night spots which was on the other side near the French connection so we had to catch a didi everywhere which was fine but made it harder to get around

Absulutely recommendable.
Pros:

Localisation, view at the Pearl Tower TV. Comfortable room. Friendly stuff. Very good ratio price / quality. The quality and variety of dishes at the breakfast.

Cons:

At the checking-out there was no person available to take the luggage.
