Female receptionist exceptional. Friendly, helpful, great welcome.

Cons:

Car park info incorrect. Out of date historical pdf on Google search directed us to the wrong car park. Staff knew about it and said it couldn’t be corrected

Great stay, location superb
Pros:

The location is amazing, the centre of Sheffield, where it all happens. Beautiful area, we are big fans of Sheffield’s pedestrian zones and everything you want can be found around this hotel. The reception persons are friendly and helpful. Upgraded our room and checked all was ok once checked in.

Cons:

Our room, 135, was wonderful, 2 levels with stairs which gave some more space. We had 2 TVs even. Sadly we could not use either one, as there was only 1 remote control, and both TVs did not work. We reported it twice but it could not be fixed in our time there. This was a shame. It did not spoil our stay, but it would have made the stay better.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel.
Pros:

We have just spent three nights at the Leopold to celebrate our Diamond Wedding anniversary. It's the third time we have stayed here and it just gets better and better. We always ask for Room 172 which is a beautiful suite with a high vaulted ceiling. The bed is big and comfortable and the shower plentiful and powerful. What more do you want? We took advantage of the breakfast offer which is considerably cheaper if booked in advance. Good choice of food and regularly topped up. The black pudding was the best I had ever eaten - low on pieces of backfat and spices, high on traditional earthy flavour. And, to boot, it was round, not square! The staff are very helpful and always have a smile on their face. It's located right in the heart of the city and just opposite Grazie, Sheffield's finest restaurant.
