Lovely building steeped in history.
The room was quite small.
Brilliant location. Clean hotel. Amazing service from staff
Only complaint is the tv was in a position that made it impossible to watch
Clean, comfortable, location great, staff brilliant especially Letti at reception who went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Nice bar and buffet breakfast with plenty on offer. Was our 2nd stay and we'd stay again.
Breakfast room quite small. If you have a room at the back of the hotel you can hear the noise from the bars in the square. Mobility access a bit of a problem with steps up to reception and a few steps inside the hallways.
Property great , location great
Bar area poor , ran out of both lagers . Cider was already ran out before we got there. 2 night stay family wedding.
Location of Hotel and the Man looking after the Breakfasts on mornings of 23rd and 24th....very helpful and pleasant, always around and ensured everyone was catered for.
Shower was faulty
Boiling Hot Water that could not be regulated, or cooled down.
No Beers available at bar, stock.levels were empty in cellars
Lovely to see a historic building brought back into use. Nice staff. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
All good.
Excellent location for attending a concert at City Hall and for eating at Zizzi’s, all within a very short stroll of eachother. Beautiful, characterful building with friendly, attentive staff. Would definitely return.
Nothing
We received a complimentary upgrade to a super king bed which was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean and had great facilities.
Nothing
We had a really enjoyable stay at The Leopold Hotel. The staff were welcoming and even upgraded our room at check-in at no extra cost, which was a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable and clean, and everything felt well looked after.
Breakfast was excellent — plenty of choice and very filling, a great way to start the day. Overall, a smooth, relaxing stay with no complaints at all. We’d happily return.

I love the Leopold Hotel and always use it when I visit Sheffield.
Lovely comfy bed and the facilities were all up to scratch.
I'm sorry to have to make negative comments as that is not usually the case.
My TV didn't work. A member of staff was very helpful and came up to my room to deal with it. He made it work but he couldn't make it offer any more than BBC 1. As it happens I was ok with that.
There was an unpleasant drains smell coming up through the shower in my bathroom.
I was on the top floor and it was noisy. There was a loud noise, possibly a boiler or something similar going all night.
I would hope to avoid the top floor in future but I am not sure how I can make this clear when booking. Perhaps I should book by phone.
Clean and central to all bars and restaurants
Welcoming
Good location, comfortable bed, breakfast very nice
Very strange room design on 2 levels, wasn't asked about any mobility issues, thankfully we could both go up and down stairs but would have been difficult if it was an issue.
Also couldn't fill the bath as the tap wasn't working but the shower was ok.
The room was good the shower was very good and the bed was very comfy.
The breakfast was very good and the location was excellent for our visit to the City Hall.
We didn’t like the lorry running its engine directly under our room at 5am it went on for a while
Pleasant staff lovely room the bed was so comfy and breakfast was perfect we had the best stay
