The complimentary breakfast was very good -- a nice seating area with a weekly changing menu posted. There was a wide variety of options including a fresh waffle station, hot oatmeal, good omelettes, a yogurt dispenser, and a beverage station with many choices including lattes and Expresso. The staff was exceptional.

Cons:

I would have liked a microwave in the room; however, there is one in the dining room as well as a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room.

WILL BE RETURNING!
Pros:

The location was central to other places desired, restaurants and pastery shop. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast very good with lots of options. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The price was very economical. Parking was underground and secure. We travel to the LBC often and will be returning here for future stays.

Cons:

There wasn't anything I did not like.

ID theft
Pros:

My company booked the hotel for a conference. Arrived late after several delayed flights, so I didn't realize the night clerk was making a copy of our driver's licenses until after the damage was done. He refused to delete it - told me it was scanned. and policy that they did it for everyone.

When I went to check out I asked to have the scan deleted. She told me the "night auditor" had "thrown the photocopy away" A scan is not a photocopy - someone is lying. I asked if it shredded or just tossed because I want confirmation that it's safely gone. She couldn't tell me what actually happened.

If you value your safety and identnty, don't stay here.

A couple of days stayed before cruising

We like long beach and have stayed in this hotel before. We like the hotel. The room is great with high ceilings, like natural body washing, shampoo and conditioners. Only little thing is the bed is too soft. And these were not enough duvets to provide. Since one of us needs to sleep on the floor due to back issues. The first night needed to sleep with towels. The second night managed to get one from house keeping. We need two pieces, but at least got one. Thanks to house keeping ladies! Just wondering why the hotel couldn’t order extra blankets for guests. That’s simple and easy. The breakfast is good. They could have provided plants based milk though. The dispenser need to be functioning completely! The pool temperature is under 26 since we only can swimming around 28 degrees. Overall, the hotel is good , but could be great!
