relaxing stay on 30 minutes from the main city
Pros:

The spa is exceptional! The staff are also very friendly and hospitable.

Cons:

The spread at the buffet was a hit or miss, I thought it would be better given the head chef at the hotel.

Architecturale parel
Pros:

We verbleven opnieuw in The Blue Water, twintig jaar na ons eerste bezoek, en het blijft een indrukwekkende ervaring.

Het ontwerp is werkelijk tijdloos. De architectuur speelt prachtig in op de omgeving, met waterpartijen die niet alleen esthetisch zijn, maar ook zorgen voor een natuurlijke verkoeling. In combinatie met de open structuur en de constante zeebries creëert dit een aangename, natuurlijke airco die je meteen tot rust brengt.

De service is tot in de puntjes verzorgd: attent, vriendelijk en professioneel zonder opdringerig te zijn. Ook culinair stelt het hotel niet teleur — het eten is gevarieerd, vers en bijzonder smaakvol.

En dan is er nog het zwembad: ruim, rustgevend en perfect geïntegreerd in het geheel. Een plek waar je moeiteloos uren doorbrengt.

Kortom, een hotel dat zijn charme en kwaliteit door de jaren heen niet verloren heeft — integendeel. Een plek om naar terug te keren.

Cons:

Pas na herhaald navragen kregen we bevestiging dat onze chauffeur gebruik kon maken van de driversaccommodatie. Dat is uiteraard een basisvoorziening die je in een hotel van dit niveau mag verwachten. Het is dan ook jammer dat dit niet proactief en vooraf geregeld of gecommuniceerd werd, want dat zorgt onnodig voor onzekerheid bij aankomst.

Worth the money! Beautiful location and probably needs some fixes here and there including maybe a new set of shower hea
Pros:

Beautiful architecture, attentive staff, good variety of food and large areas.

Excellent spa space and service. Highly recommend.

The suites are gorgeous and spacious with beautiful views overlooking the ocean.

The food and service was good in general. We enjoyed the variety of food.

Cons:

Check in duration - check in takes way too long although the service while waiting is good. I’d rather check in sooner to enjoy the facilities than spend half hour sitting at reception.

Pool staff probably needs a bit more training to be friendlier and attentive.

Most of senior waiting staff seem to simply order the younger staff around when we request anything. We observed this for 2 days. The female and younger restaurant staff were excellent with their service. Last day breakfast food ran out by 9:30am and was only restocked after 10am when breakfast time was over.

They stay was excellent except for the check in and check out.
Pros:

The location, rooms, food were excellent

Cons:

The check in and check out too an unnecessary long time. On the day of the check out they were understaffed to handle the check outs because there was a big wedding party that was checking out on that day.
