Clean, friendly staff

Cons:

Power cut on last night for 4 hours. Couldn’t pack or charge phones as it was pitch black, took a while for them to come fix it despite mentioning 3 or 4 times

Pros:

We had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean spacious and well maintained. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They were so nice and even made us a cake for our wedding anniversary.

A beautiful and relaxing stay overall, with friendly hospitality, although a few areas could be improved to make the gue
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Blue Water. The property was beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. The room was comfortable and clean, and the surroundings were lovely.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated their hospitality throughout our stay. Everything was well organised, and we felt comfortable and looked after.

Cons:

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Water, and I appreciated being upgraded to the JBawa Special Edition Suite. However, there were a few areas that could be improved.

The rooms became very wet inside quite quickly whenever we opened the doors. In the Special Edition Suite, the floor also became wet and slippery when we switched on the air conditioning, which was a safety concern.

It would also be helpful if each room had more information about the à la carte menu and spa services, including prices, so guests can easily plan and make bookings.

Unfortunately, the mocktails and cocktails we ordered at the bar were not very enjoyable. I feel the bar staff may benefit from some additional training in cocktail preparation, presentation and consistency, so the drinks can meet the standard expected from the property.

Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and hospitality, but addressing these areas would make the guest experience much better.

Nice calm hotel
Pros:

Nice architecture, wide spaces, calm, clean and well manteinanced place. Cool hotel.

Cons:

Noisy and not powerful ac in the room. Due to several water supply cuts in the morning the water shower temperature was cold or burning.
Long 3-days weddings held in the garden, breaking the beauty and the calmness of the hotel. Some members of the staff are too much intense trying to be simpatic but they were exceeding the attention to us.

I loved the place and would consider again, but price too high for the things they provide.

Love to Come Back
Pros:

We stayed at the Blue Water for only two nights but so wished we would have stayed longer.
The following is what stood out for me as a true 5-star hotel:
* welcoming ceremony
* attentive staff (we ate hoppers one morning for breakfast and finger bowls appeared without request - might be a small action but it's noticed when other "5-star" Hotels are not as attentive).
* large manicured open spaces using the breeze from the ocean in the design
* plenty of options/areas to "lounge" or have a drink
* huge pool with separate pool bar (open air and under-cover seating options)
* large and staffed gym
* beautifully decorated large rooms
* WhatsApp system for requests (I used it to request the room be made when we vacated for about hour or so, worked very well!)
* delicious and varied local and western food options (it was local all the way for me).

Particular mention to Senaya and Aruna who made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you for looking after us so well and the professionalism you displayed in your service.

I would have no hesitation in returning to The Blue Waters and plan to do so soon.
