Our room was located just off a small courtyard and was very tastefully appointed. Everything was of the highest standard. The bed was very comfortable and the room, though small, was very well equipped. The hotel could not be better located in the heart of the town.
Like most hotels, there are not enough electrical sockets to accommodate the myriad items that guests bring with them. We were lucky to grab a parking space down the street on a Sunday (free parking), but I imagine if you have to park in a public car park, it would be inconvenient. There is, however, a loading bay outside the hotel.
First time back for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Super location, great food and well equipped rooms

Poor selection for continental and I had the beans on toast which were grim. The cutlery looked very tarnished.
We asked for a taxi and they only rang one number which didn’t have one available. There were many others they could have rung.
The only wine by the glass comes out of pumps in the wall.
No robe or slippers, no room fridge.
My room was in an annexe up a large flight of stairs which had not been made clear.
I paid £690 for a Classic room for two nights with breakfast.
Absolutely not value for money.

Really well located, clean and stylish
Friendly and warm check-in from Harry, a great member of the team who kindly gave us an upgrade. Room was nice and spacious with a lovely large walk-in shower and big bath. Really comfortable bedroom, great service from the restaurant team and good menu you selection.
One very small point! When you serve a the Lamb dish with Orzo in a metal bowl with handles and then pop it onto another bowl plate it is incredibly difficult to cut the lamb as the whole bowl rocks! It looks great, but really not practical! Good food though!

The bar is understaffed and very slow, and with warm weather and no air conditioning there should at least be a fan in the room.

Great location in centre of Rye. We had two rooms around a little patio. Nicely decorated.
Amazing looking building in a good location. Clean rooms with beautiful small attentions to detail.
Loud extractor fan outside my window with kitchen smells finding their way into the room. Asked to move rooms and very kindly swapped into a different part of the hotel.
