Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at your hotel regarding the breakfast offering and the way it was presented at the time of booking.
When I made my reservation, breakfast was advertised as included. However, upon arrival I discovered that the “included breakfast” was extremely basic and limited only to tea, coffee, croissants, toast and cheese. Any additional items including basic hot options such as eggs required an extra payment.
This was not clearly communicated during the booking process and therefore felt misleading. In my opinion, this creates a “catch-22” situation for guests who reasonably expect a standard hotel breakfast when it is advertised as included.
I strongly believe that if a hotel offers only a very limited continental selection, this must be clearly stated at the point of booking. Guests should be informed exactly what is included and what requires additional payment so they can make an informed decision.
If this matter is not addressed appropriately, I will also be sharing my experience in a public review on Google.

Easy access to central London..
Good restaurant providing good quality food for evening meals.
Comfortable bed.
Helpful and friendly staff.

The bathroom needed updating.
Despite signs to the contrary we were very surprised to see someone vaping in the bar area.
Excellent location next to South Ruislip tube station (central line). Plenty of amenities nearby - shops/ supermarkets/cinema/pubs/restaurants. Friendly and helpful team. Decent continental breakfast which was kept topped up and I enjoyed having a hot chocolate from the drinks machine. Hotel was peaceful and I enjoyed a good couple of nights sleep. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but meals looked and smelled fabulous.
Bit dated and I prefer hand held shower over fixed but for price paid these were very minor things. It don’t detract from overall comfort and experience.

Reception staff may take advantage , espelially when i passed dead line for cancellation by few hours , they refused to engage in conversation first of all ,refused to acknowledge they got a cancellatiion request , inconsitent language
Infact they will make themselves a ' best employee' by trying to make you 'n on show ' forteiting full payment
We had to leave early before breakfast has started, but the staff were very helpful and managed to get some of the items ready for when we left.
the shower was a little underwhelming espeacially as we had to get up early
Was close to where I needed to be for funeral. Staff were very polite

The location is excellent, very near to the underground station and all shops are nearby. The room was good sized.
