It was clean and will look nice when completed
They didn’t inform or share that the pool was out of commission for months and loud construction started inside at 8:00am
The room size
Is under construction, lot of dust everywhere, front desk lady was so rude.
The hospitality.
Nothing.
Very very disappointed about my experience at the Embassy Suites Blue Ash Ohio. It was a simple staycation for us. Room was okay although the bed was not a crisp look when we arrived. We selected this hotel to have the made to order breakfast, pool, and nice atmosphere. It's NOT as advertised on their website as well as on phone announcement while you wait on hold. No made to order breakfast, pool closed until June 2026. Breakfast was definitely subpar. No omelette station. Before we left there was a knock at the door with no announcement of who it was, and within 3 seconds the door opened. No apologies, just closed the door. To pay just north of $200, it was quite disappointing. Would not recommend at all.
We were very happy with our room. As always it was comfortable and very clean. We loved the breakfast and the evening reception. The staff for breakfast and the evening reception were all very nice and accommodating. We loved having a 12pm check out time instead of 11am.
We were disappointed that it was not made clear during booking that the pool was under construction. When we inquired about swimming at another hotel, the receptionist simply said that was not an option and that she would just cancel our reservation and we could book somewhere else. Which I wasn’t planning on doing at all. She did not provide any additional information about our room location, what time check out was, or when and where breakfast was(since we had to walk through the construction to get to it)She seemed young and was very rude. The rest of the hotel was under construction as well which did not add to the ambiance. It felt cold and warehouse like, instead of warm and inviting. There were only 2 luggage carts, which were both broken, and never available.
I am shocked. Subpar for Hilton quality. We are in the second night of a four night stay and I am beyond disgusted. We came here with a marching band and got about 20 rooms. I was given the key to a room that was occupied by another person. Literally walked into their room. So embarrassing.
When we arrived to our second room, the bed was slept in. Not even made. We had to get a third room. Our other band director arrived to their room and there were dead gnats on the bedspread. They got another room as well. In their new room, the dining room chair had chocolate smeared all over the fabric. The staff brought a new chair. Our shower had small black hairs on the walls. The students were 5 kids to a room. The rooms were never serviced the next day. None of these kids could shower at night. When I called, the man said “there is a towel shortage”. I said why wasn’t any trash removed from the rooms. He had no answer.
A parent went down stairs to complain about the cleanliness of their role and asked when it would be tended to and the manager, Jacob, stated, “We’ll get to it when we get to it.” Is this for real? I pulled out the pullout couch tonight, as our daughter drove in for the competition. There were crumbs and larger pieces of food on the mattress. She chose to sleep on an air mattress on the floor instead. When she removed the spare sheets from the closet, there were small black hairs on the sheets. Were they even washed? I called for more clan sheets. They NEVER came. Had to go downstairs and get them ourselves. NO THANKS!!!! I’ll stick with Marriott next time. We are done with Hiltons.
I loved everything about this hotel even while they were undergoing renovations! The staff was amazing. Room was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was amazing. We can’t wait to return when the renovations are complete!
The hotel was under construction. The pool was closed. The WiFi was spotty. We didn’t get housekeeping service.Don’t stay here
Very disappointing experience. I arrived after 9 PM with my 14-year-old daughter after a 5-hour drive, only to discover the hotel was undergoing a full interior renovation, something that was never disclosed when booking. We both have allergies, and the construction dust made it difficult to breathe.
Our first room had clearly been used, with disturbed sheets and pillows. We requested to leave, but at that hour there were no other hotels available nearby, and as a parent traveling alone with my daughter, I didn’t feel safe driving further in an unfamiliar area. We were moved to another room, but it still wasn’t clean, my daughter ended up with white dust all over her clothes just from sitting on the floor, and the fitted sheet didn’t even fit the bed.
We were also woken up at 5:23 AM by a front desk text message, and the TV in the sitting area didn’t work.
Overall, this stay was far below acceptable standards. Between the undisclosed renovation, cleanliness issues, and lack of consideration for guests, I would not recommend staying here, especially for families or anyone with allergies.
Drinks and breakfast
The construction inside, the dirt and dust everywhere. The smell of paint.
The remodeled rooms are really nice.
There was moments of really loud construction. The restaurant was not open to get food at the bar, or if so, the bartender never offered food.
The hotel was under construction, we did not know about this. It was unsafe for my children and very loud, with construction starting before we woke up and going during the time my children were supposed to be napping. Also, the breakfast was inferior to other embassy suites. Very disappointing
Everything! It was beautiful
