Everything! It was beautiful
THIS IS THE WRITE UP I SENT TO HILTON.
This was the absolute worst HILTON we have ever stayed in. Not only was it NOT disclosed that the hotel was under MAJOR renovations before or during the reservation process, by the way, it still is not advertised as under renovation.
When we noticed around 7 pm that our room had no hot water at either of the sinks nor the shower and that the bathroom sink would not drain, we reported it immediately to the front desk. Two hours later went to room to check and still had no hot water and the sink still didn’t drain. Went back to front desk, asked for manager and reported this again. He guaranteed that it would be fixed within 40 minutes. At 11 pm went back to room and the drain still didn’t drain but had hot water. Only issue was that to get hot water, you had to turn on the cold water. And if you wanted cold water, you had to turn on the hot water. How could a hotel, especially a HILTON brand and Embassy Suites at that, have such horrible staff that no cleaning staff reported the issue about the water or drain, no repair staff could fix it and that the manager didn’t know about it and when confronted, still couldn’t get it fixed within 3 hours time? That was just the water issue.
Back to the renovations, just absolutely horrible and extremely unprofessional to remain open during this extent of renovations. I am still suffering from allergy issues due to all the construction and drywall dust. Everywhere you looked there was construction dust. It was so bad you could smell it. When I blow my nose, it comes out. The furniture had construction dust on it. The dust was everywhere. You know it’s bad when you lay down to sleep and all you smell is construction dust. You should’ve at minimum shut down half the hotel and completely sealed it off so the dust wouldn’t contaminate the entire hotel. But instead, greed took over and you remained completely open despite the health risks, the safety risks and the major inconvenience it posed. I doubt that legally you’re able to serve food with the construction not sealed off, we’ll let the health department deal with that issue.
Let’s get back to the fact the construction was never disclosed. With the amount of construction remaining to be completed, why aren’t you disclosing it? All your website says is the pool is closed for construction. No mention that half of the first floor is under construction, entire 2nd floor closed for construction, outside areas closed for construction, etc. This is a MAJOR renovation, one that the hotel should have closed for for health and safety reasons.
It is absolutely so unprofessional this is how you treat your guests, your customers. Do you think you have a chance of XYZ Company coming back next year after how you treated all of us and mislead us? And when we complain about it, all we get is a I’m sorry with a less than half serious tone. It is obvious you do not respect your guests or customers. All pictures attached are from 3-13, 3-14 and from the hotel website.
Nice location rooms were clean and new
Construction dust everywhere
2 free drinks for checking in was like toilet water and u couldn’t get them from the bar u got it from a stand around the corner
The remodel rooms were beautiful. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful.
The construction inside the hotel was bad. The breakfast buffet was not very good. I used to think Embassy Suites had the best breakfast, which was why I booked there this time, but I was very disappointed.
Property has nothing good
Hotel is under construction which wasn’t disclosed during booking, the pool is not available, breakfast was horrible and the staff were rude.. my room was dirty and the microwave had no plate
The webpage does not show all the renovations that are going on right now, Feb '26. I can deal with renovations, but razor blades lying on the floor where they had taken up part of the carpet? I did mention this to the front desk on my way out. The blankets on the bed had obvious holes in it. Looked like they just threw on any old rag and called it a comforter.
The location. Inside is renovation, looks like a ghost town/scary movie
Being open during renovations, looked scary. Pool didn’t work, bucket in workout room, dust everywhere besides the bar area.
The location
When I got there, I did not realize the place was under construction. It was not fit to have guests in. I am shocked that the embassy would even book stays in this environment. Dusty, debris unimaginable. I could not get my money back because I did a 3rd party book. Also, I opened my room to another couple already in the room? How do you make that mistake? Unreal finish to 2025, New Years Eve.
Everything was great. I was just surprised to find out, when I arrived, that the hotel was undergoing renovations. I think this should have been communicated when I booked my reservations.

Comfortable bed, a clean room that was a nice size
Bathroom in the room had paint peeling on the ceiling and a light fixture that was broken. Other parts of the room seemed to be in functional but substandard condition as well.
