The Oswego exceeded our expectations and gave us a comfortable place to stay on our vacation.
Pros:

Excellent location, easy to drive our car to everywhere we wanted to see around Victoria. The view from our room on the 8th floor was awesome and we enjoyed the nightly sunsets from our balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having two bedrooms as well as two bathrooms was a big plus for our family. I enjoyed checking in on my 65th birthday and the entire stay was amazing.

Cons:

I cannot think of a better place to stay, and we will definitely return to this property when we have a chance to visit Victoria again! I have nothing negative to say about this property.

Pros:

The hotel is very central and easy to find. The hotel staff were above and beyond making us feel welcomed and were incredibly gracious. The hotel restaurant in the lobby was fantastic. The hospitality was unmatched!

Pros:

It was in good location near the harbor and shops. Very clean.

Cons:

The restaurant food and service wasnt great. Whole place bland. Also climate control in room didn't work well. Was very hot. Bed not comfortable.

Amazing staff, very clean, a few missing comforts
Pros:

All members of staff were extremely courteous and proactively helpful. Gold stars for all of them. The room was very clean, and also had a little balcony which was great for fresh air.
We found the location to be close enough to the central James Bay area to be convenient for walking, and the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and seaside walk was also a nice bonus.

Cons:

The room wasn't very well laid out for relaxing. It was furnished with two armchairs, which were in opposite areas of the room, and neither in proximity to the TV. We resorted to moving the entertainment center and TV so it faced the bed a little more directly, but the bed and pillows weren't sufficient for comfortable lounging either, regrettably. While we did spend a lot of time exploring the city, it would have been nice to have a more comfortable "charging station" to relax in, and unfortunately it didn't quite deliver on that.
I would have also preferred to have a better assortment of cookware and utensils in the kitchenette, but we made it work with what was provided. (The small pots and pans weren't really adequately sized even for preparing meals for two, and I really missed having a silicon scraper/spatula available.) Word to the wise as well - check the refrigerator temperature to ensure it won't freeze your produce.
