We have stayed at this property two or three times a year when we fly our plane north and south. Have always had a nice stay and we picked this property because they would pick us up and drop off at the general aviation terminal and they had a nice restaurant on site.
The hotel is older but this makes for larger rooms. Unfortunately it was sold in November and the quality in services is now lacking.
The restaurant has gone to a small menu and the once incredible wine list which featured a number of the well known local vineyards is now replaced with the generic cheap wine. Northwest artwork has been replaced with poorly done Hawaiian prints. Where are the sepia toned logging and Crater Lake prints?
See above. Also, when we asked for a ride to the general aviation terminal at the airport we were told they did not offer that anymore and only went to the airline terminal which was not that far away. Breakfast was no longer restaurant dining but again a generic lackluster breakfast buffet.
Breakfast, the buffet was fair, however a full menu should be at hand for this meal
needs a full breakfast menu
Great location. On site restaurant. Nice facility.
Questionable characters hanging out. Long wait to check in- Short staffed?
Room
The sink and tub drains won’t drain.
Location to airport with 24 hour shuttle service, plus wheelchair provision during stay.
Neat and clean.
It was all good!
My wife and I stayed for two nights. The location of the Inn was great, right off the freeway and centrally located, and the staff was very friendly. The in room coffee was excellent, and the Inn offers a buffet breakfast from 6 am to 10 am.
We were able to check in a bit early, our room was clean, and we couldn't really complain about the price.
Housekeeping! I was surprised that you only get housekeeping service if you stay more then four days, as we had to go to reception to get coffee replacement after our first nights stay, so something to consider if you like fresh towels and stuff.
If you are a light sleeper, be warned the walls seem pretty thin. We could hear the television, conversations, microwave or sink next door. My wife and I had an unusual experience, as the room we were in had an adjoining room door, and in the middle of the night, the kids next door had opened their side and started jiggling the door handle on our side, so that was a surprise. Little creepy too that the parents were letting this happen but that is a different story.
I’ve been staying at the Rogue Regency over the years. Always a great place to stay for comfort, convenience and great amenities for traveling.
N/A
The rooms are clean and quiet
The room was nice as was the pool
The staff where difficult to deal with
It was clean and the shower water pressure was great! Nice breakfast also.
The bed and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Also the linens were very yellowed.
It's a spacious hotel close to the airport and Medford City Center. The room was spacious with a mini-fridge, microwave and TV. The a/c was good. There's a supermarkey across the street. The hotel also offers airport pickup and drop-off service and breakfast in the morning. There is also an indoor pool and fitness room. I recommend this hotel.
1. The breakfast had very little for vegetarians who do not eat eggs, sausage or gravy. Simple packets of oatmeal would have been good and cheaper than eggs and sausage.
2. There were only 4 clothes hangers and a few more would have been nice.
3. Because of wooden floors, people in the room above mine walking and running above me made it difficult to sleep. But when I reported it to the reception, they made sure no one stayed in the room above me.
4. The internet connection to the smart TV in the room was going in and out, but the hotel was in the process of fixing it.
Staff was helpful and friendly Hot tub and pool were very clean and functioning really well
Some of the facilities seemed dated and not kept up well. Breakfast was pretty limited. TV reception wasn’t good
Priced right
