Location
Pets allowed. It did not state cats were not allowed 🚫 😤 thankfully we got a room next door at Comfort Inn. I have 2 special breeds. Hairless cats. I was in town to see a vet cardiologist to have my cats scanned for HCM. You need to add this to the website please. We did order food to go & the lady in the restaurant was so kind. We appreciated that.
Beautiful grand entrance. Beautiful dark wood railings. First impression was this is a classy hotel at a great price.
The check in seemed easy and seamless (or so I thought)
The restaurant and pub connected to the hotel was very nice and convenient. The room was large and very nice.
The first time I tried to enter my room, my key didn't work, I had to go to the desk to have it reprogrammed. This was the first of no less than five times I had to get my key reprogrammed.
When I returned on my second day, I had been checked out of my room even though I had reserved and prepaid for a two night stay. I had left all my belongings in the room.Once we straightened it out and I went to my room, it had not been cleaned, the bed was not made, garbage not taken out and towels not replaced. I went to the desk and asked that the room be cleaned while I was out to dinner.
When I returned, the room had not been cleaned, they only left a stack of towels on the counter.
The worst part of the stay was what I believe to be previously homeless people being housed at this hotel. I don't have a problem with a program to house the unhoused population, however, there were multiple incidents of loud obnoxious behavior and even one physical fight right in front of the lobby and the staff, who ignored it as if it was nothing unusual.
It is an awful shame that such a nice classy establishment has what appears to be untrained staff and allows inappropriate behavior right in front of there eyes and other clienteles.

The beds were very comfortable
The staff at the front desk didn't tell me we were at the end of a REEEEEAAAAALLY long hallway. That was very rough on my disabled dad. The doors closest to our room were exit only.. never experienced that at a hotel before. So we had to have one person go through the lobby walk alllll the way down the long hall way open the door.... very inconvenient. The continental breakfast was sub par at best. Your options were eggs.. or potatoes.. took my kids to the pool. Which it said you are not to take room towels so we didnt.. and there was a huge pike of wet towels and no clean. Called the front desk to inform them. Said it would be taken care of. A hour later I got my kids out of the pool.. still no clean towels. Got them out because I reported people drinking alcohol in the pool. It didn't feel like a safe situation. Kids had to walk outside to a door and wait to get in because all doors are... exit only.. decent price but will pay a little more next time fir a better experience
My stay here was acceptable. Above average. Customer service was A+ very friendly and knowledgeable.
Breakfast was below average. Would liked to have more options besides eggs, potatoes, cereal and bread.
I had oral surgery and couldn't talk the day at front desk that helped me was amazing and so sweet
Hot tub was closed
People next door were a bit loud. But that's not hotels fault
Shuttle to airport and parking.
This is an older hotel, and it definitely shows. But in such a good way it’s so homie and nostalgic. We really loved the staff. The comedy show was good. There is a lot to do in the bar area, which was fun. We played a lot of games and stayed busy. It’s close to everything you could possibly need. Bartenders were amazing.
The only thing we didn’t like was breakfast there wasn’t much going on at all and to be honest it looks like there was a couple of homeless people in there each day. The tables weren’t clean. We didn’t have the stuff we needed like sugar and salt and pepper but honestly, it was no big deal. There’s a kitchenette in the room. We just heated stuff up there.
