Great location, next to downtown, train station
Friendly staff (we were allowed an extra hour at check out)
We asked for a quiet room facing inner court and got one

The staff and the location and the theatre - my stay happened to coincide with a « Led and Dead » concert that was a lot of fun!

I originally chose this property because it’s only a few blocks from the train station. But when I got familiar with Brattleboro I soon realized that I definitely would have chosen it anyway. Great staff and accommodations, super high-contact facility in terms of continuing notifications etc. Loved having the movie theatre next door, and the whole Art Deco feel of this historic place.

Great location to restaurant s, Breweries and entertainment! Saw a rock show at the theater! Good show great value!!!!

My husband came to Brattleboro to attend a show at The Stone Church. The Latchis is within walking distance of the venue. The Latchis is in the center of the action actually. There are so many neat places to walk around and visit- spas, restaurants, craft supply stores, a wonderful bookstore right across the street from The Latchis. The Latchis also provides a record player and vinyl albums to play in your room. It's such a great place with a lot of charm, character and it's pet friendly!

The staff was incredibly friendly, location great, room very clean and the hotel itself is very unique and eclectic!

Staff were great from check-in to check-out and in between. Mikayla, the asst manager, was so helpful and kind. The hotel is in a great location-walking distance to great eateries and a food co-op. The hotel also offers a nice package of dinner and a movie where for $30 you get a certificate of $25 towards a choice of a few restaurants and then a movie with a large popcorn and drink. (the movie staff were nice too.). Plus the theatre is attached to the hotel.

Room was clean and tidy offering a fridge and a noise machine as some rooms face the street. The hotel is art deco and fun.

We stayed for one night during a last minute ski trip. Room was clean. Read up on the hotel so you have the right expectations. Historic location and they have done a nice job maintaining while keeping the charm. The town is quaint and we caught a snow storm so it was so peaceful and charming. Staff friendly.

We had a nice, comfortable stay at this funky landmark in downtown Brattleboro. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn't hit the in house movie theater, which would have been fun. Next time! Nice to be in town rather than in a chain motel on the road. Short walk to good eats, shops and near enough to Mt Snow and Okemo to be an affordable base to ski both.

This is a hotel centrally located in downtown Brattleboro. It has a theatrical theme and has a historic movie theater attached. We stayed in a two room suite. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was no temperature control when we stayed there. The ACs were shut off and the rooms were warm. Not a bad thing if you sleep warm, but I like a cold room and was a little uncomfortable. There was a fan provided and it helped. Downstairs in the lobby is a cool coffee nook where you can sit on comfy couches and can enjoy free coffee, tea or hot chocolate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The movie theater is stunning. If you don’t take in a movie, you should at least take a peek inside. There is a small restaurant attached to the hotel as well. The menu is limited but the food was good. There is very limited parking at this hotel which was disappointing. There is a public parking lot next door, but it’s paid and I don’t know if it’s overnight. The location is great. You can walk to many shops and restaurants and covered bridges are only a short drive away.

If you enjoy connecting to stories from the past and experiencing a hotel that feels like you've stepped back in time, this place is for you! The Latchis is such a unique blend of the historic with access to the modern amenities of downtown Brattleboro. Everything you need is in walking distance and it was extra nice to stay at a pet friendly location with such a low pet fee. The staff are AMAZING and so welcoming! We will be back!

Unique stay. Loved the record player with a Guy Lombardo record in the room. Could have been a bit cleaner, but so could my own house. Perfect location.

The art deco feel. The old theatre being respected in every corner. The record player was delightful. Location can’t be beat.

This is a cool, unique hotel in a fabulous location. Walk to restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, movie theater, museum, galleries eyc. Staff super nice and helpful. Nice cocktail bar in building.

Accessible and friendly staff

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting Brattleboro. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

This was our third time staying here. Clean room with a good view. We went downstairs and watched a movie at the theater..
