5 night stay
Pros:

Food excellent
Rooms and other parts of the hotel freezing. Tried to check out a day early but wouldn't give a refund, our kids were playing in a football tournament and it finished a day early. Friends were staying in nearby hotels and got a refund no problem

Unexpected gem
Pros:

We were very pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. We had a triple. The shower was powerful and warm. The food was superb, and it was a very peaceful hotel. Highly recommend if you're going to Limerick. I don't think I would stay anywhere else.

Extortionate Room Rate
Pros:

For a number of reasons I had to stay at The Kilmurry Lodge Hotel recently on business.
I paid €200 room only rate. The room was clean but very basic.
Breakfast was €18 extra, if required.
I recall my Mothers phrase “a fool and his money are soon parted”
I felt exploited particularly as I was bringing an additional €2,000 + in business to the Hotel at the time.
Nonetheless, the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Friendly Staff
Pros:

Super Nice!!
Staff was super friendly
Bed was super comfortable, didn't want to wake up the next day to leave. We were hooked up with a suite, so the bedroom was super nice. Quiet also in the lodge.
This was by far the best breakfast we had in Ireland at the Hotels, big spread of different foods and drinks.

We didn't get to walk the grounds and see the beautiful Golf Course, but I am sure it was beautiful, especially since the Hotel was so nice.

Perk: There was water filling stations inside the lodge, with ice cold or room temp water, which was an awesome perk.

Convenient and Characterful Stay for the University of Limerick
Pros:

I stayed at Kilmurry Lodge while attending a conference at the University of Limerick and found it to be a very convenient and pleasant place to stay.

The hotel is around a 25–30 minute walk from several key buildings at the university, making it a good base for anyone visiting the campus. The accommodation itself is attractive and has plenty of character, with a quirky charm that makes it feel more interesting than a standard business hotel.

The bar area was large, comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. The food was good, the service was efficient, and all of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The room itself was perfectly adequate and about what I would expect for the price paid. It was comfortable enough, although there was no fridge, and overall it was fairly unremarkable compared with the hotel's public areas.

One point worth noting is that breakfast was, as is often the case with hotels of this type, quite expensive. However, there is a Lidl only a 3–4 minute walk away, which provided a very convenient alternative. On a couple of mornings I simply walked over and picked up some almond croissants, which was both pleasant and considerably cheaper.

Overall, the combination of the location, character, and friendly service made for an enjoyable stay. I would happily stay at Kilmurry Lodge again if I were attending another event at the University of Limerick.

A quality stay which provided for all our needs over 4 days, but VERY expensive.
Pros:

All good. A well-run hotel.
My special thanks to whoever rescued my rollator from the disabled parking space when I inadvertently drove off without it. It was tucked safely away at reception when I returned in panic an hour later. A BIG relief!!

Cons:

All good. Any query was promptly dealt with.
