Excellent as always
Location perfect for where we wished to visit in the area. Everywhere clean including our room. We had stated beforehand we had a blue badge, the shower for our age and abilities was quite dangerous. No grab bars, high bath side to climb in and out, plus couldn’t turn shower knob as stiff.
Had booked 5 buffet evening meals, received 1 and other nights given a small choice menu.
On departure I queried the amount I had to pay to settle account, requested a print out of charged items, the young lady stated it was on her screen and so she couldn’t show us that, again I asked for print out, was told that hotel didn’t do that. I still don’t know what I was charged for.
Besides those items, the hotel was very comfortable, the majority of the staff friendly and extremely helpful.
Would I return, I really don’t know.

Everything except the heat in the room

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice to have a fan in the room. Good choice for breakfast.
Room is very tired, needs attention, especially the windows, blind, curtains. The bathroom had mould on tiles and inside the bath handles, the towel hook is hanging off the bathroom door, scuff marks on the walls and the bathroom sink needs unblocking. Cooked breakfast was lukewarm.
Large room
I had rang a week before to book an early check in as I was attending a wedding in the afternoon and needed to be ready before 3pm check in. I was told it was all booked and arranged and when I got there I was told I hadn’t booked it by a very rude member of staff (guy with a man bun) and that I could get ready in a meeting room with no lock on the door which had a glass window and the room had no mirror etc.
We then couldn’t check in until after we arrived back from the wedding at 11.30pm and when we got to the room it was full of large moths flying about!

Pool table not working bar closed at 11.00 despite World Cup football, last year we had a great time this year we had to go off site
