Room was a good size and bathroom clean, pillows had seen better days and so not the most comfortable
Unable to open window, as the smoking area was outside my room - with the door having a fairly large gao underneath the smoke smell came in without windows open. Noise from people smoking was not the best after a long day training. And the guy deciding to have a row on a phone outside wasn't welcomed at all. ONce I did get to sleep hoping for a "bit" of a lay in, the beer barrels dropping to the floor outside the room at 7:30 we not welcomed either
Lovely clean room. Quiet and good facilities
Bar/restaurant very expensive
Great location and park
Cheaply built
Early check-in booking I'd made and had conversed directly with the hotel hadn't made hotel reception. Proved tricky for the reception to fathom. Fortunately I had the email. No resolution seemed forthcoming had one room luckily not bee cleaned early. Breakfast had been added to the booking which I hadn't selected so the price offered by the hotel was incorrect. This took further time to sort with a reasonably unhelpful receptionist.
Grounds, well kept gardens and chap on reception who was super friendly and helpful.
Very rude woman serving behind the bar on Friday evening who had her invisible filter glasses on until 22:00 where she darted off without offering to serve us a drink! Other staff behind the bar were not allowed to serve as they were glass collectors only! Rude breakfast staff! No brown bread at breakfast and not because they had run out that morning because we were one of the first in!
No drawers or shelves in the rooms to store clothes. No air conditioning.
Wasn't there long enough to form an opinion.
Nothing.
Bed was too small, worn and soft. Staff seemed to be over worked.
Area was beautiful, lots to do, felt very in nature
Didnt realise the bedrooms were in chalets not in the big house but still very nice
Lovely location. Nice pub around the corner.
Warm rooms if staying in first floor
Drinking area
