The room was spotlessly clean and the amount of plug sockets was very impressive! Reception and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful
Lovely accommodation, walls between bedrooms a but thin so could hear some unsavoury noises from adjoining room, which was embarrassing. Facilities good

Breakfast was lovely but the staff seemed not very helpful. Only at breakfast! The rest of the staff were lovely the rest of the day. Breakfast staff we're slightly unhelpful and disinterested.

The location was great. Lovely surroundings and grounds. Beautiful old building.
The rooms were a little tired and our room could have done with a lick of paint.
The room was too hot with no way of opening the window without it being completely unlocked and so room could not be secured. I appreciate it was very hot but you should have a method of opening the window and still keeping it secure.This was apparently an upgrade so I cant imagine what we upgraded from.
Breakfast was also very poor for a hotel of this size.
Das Herrenhaus mit den kleinen Wohngebäuden und Parkanlage war wunderschön. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig 😋 Wir sollten wegen unseren Hunden in der Bar essen. Das war überhaupt nicht negativ, im Gegenteil die Bar war sehr urig und gemütlich. Durch unsere zweiwöchige Südengland Tour mussten wir leider nach der zweiten Nacht weiter. Kommen aber bestimmt nochmal dorthin zurück🤗

Lovely building and grounds. Interesting rooms.
The staff varied from very friendly and knowledgeable to, well not so much. Had to tell them that the error messages on the coffee machines meant empty the grounds, empty the drip tray and add more beans, otherwise they'd just have kept flashing out of order. Not too professional. Reception staff were great though.

Had to pay extra to upgrade as room had no air and restricted opening window, too hot.
Once upgraded to ground floor had to report broken shower, and broken toilet seat fixings which they did sort out.
