Everything was spotless and very well maintained, making our stay comfortable from start to finish. The surroundings are both peaceful and scenic, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the area.
One of the highlights for us was the breakfast — just as amazing as we remembered from our stay two years ago. It was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care, which made our mornings even more special.

Great location and set up with fantastic staff
Second time I’ve stayed here and both times there was not a toilet brush to clean the skids
A beautiful room with lovely chilled vibes
quiet location
gym and pool get very busy
I think the approach and entrance look fantastic
The room (Room 88) it was below what I expected. Heavily stained carpet, a fridge that continually clicks on and off during the night.
No water, other than tap water.
The noise - Room above, sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. The room was positioned looking into the courtyard. However the door was right next to the door to the leisure centre, with people coming and going quite late and very early.

Quiet
Draught coming through window
Shower was poor
The room is comfy and modern, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The location is beautiful.
The only toiletries was hand soap, no shower gel, etc. Also, the paint is badly chipped in the corridor outside the room and the outside of the door. You can't freely access the wellness area.
The building is beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. The room was basic but clean and quiet
Comfy bed
Good location
Nice pool
Nice grounds
Friendly staff
Breakfast was very mediocre. No mushrooms no beans no tomatoes hard eggs.
Pool key didn't work.
Buffet breakfast was fair
Location is good. Grounds are amazing
Cramped in dining room for breakfast.
Nice stay. Friendly staff.
The accommodation was quite tired, but that didn’t affect our stay.
Nothing really went well.
NO POWER 5 electric cuts in one night.
NO WATER
NO REQUESTED ROOM, DESPITE ASSURANCES..
Saying goodbye to the receptionist in my way out .
I had asked for a ground floor room and was emailed saying my request could be facilitated.
But although the receptionist was pleasant , I was informed my room was upstairs, but that there was a lift. it was miles away from the room and 2 sets of small stairs had to be negotiated to eventually find my room.
So big disappointment on day 1.
Then there were the power cuts.... 5 of them.
Then there were the water cuts.
Imagine being in your room, going to the bathroom at 1030 before bed then the water cuts off. NO FLUSH,
Leaving you with bathroom odours for the next 9 and a half hours as you try to get to sleep til the water was eventually returned ONLY after I called reception in the morning, and was assured an engineer was on the way.
Each day the cleaner/ room tidier left less and less milk/teabags etc. So that must have been in as scarce supply as the water and electricity.😃
When leaving, another pleasant receptionist asked if I had a pleasant stay. She was surprised when I told of of the issues I had encountered, but did not apologise or offer any sort of recompense ( I wasn't looking for this but to be offered even an apology would have been a more professional touch)
Overall the hotel was quiet in a quiet location that's really the only positive I have of the place.
Sorry!
All of the above
Confusing repetitive info from Booking.com
The grounds were very nice and the main house is a grand place
Bed was a bit lumpy and springy. Ordered a twin room and got a double bed I had to split. Obviously didn’t leave much room between the beds. WiFi signal was poor at best
