Country House Hotel grand style in Hampshire
Pros:

We visited New Place Hotel for dinner to celebrate our friends anniversary. The main hotel building was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1904 and using interior decorated plaster ceilings, carved staircases and grand fireplaces from a 17th Century Bristol Mansion. Having visited the hotel many years ago, it was a great pleasure to return and see how the original brick country house had been renovated and furnished. Modern accommodation and leisure buildings were located adjacent. We were welcomed and looked after by a charming young lady, Grace, throughout ,our evening. She was very helpful, friendly and keen to be of assistance. Full marks for her and her attitude which was greatly appreciated by our party.
The food was very good including variations on established menu choices, served in the grand dining room. Although the prices of some wine bottles and food dishes were somewhat high, we still felt it was value for money, taking in to account the setting and helpfulness of the staff.
We would certainly return again.

A very special break.
Pros:

A lovely hotel in a wonderful setting. We loved the history of the house and the gardens were beautifully kept. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant on both evenings and we were served by Grace. She was smiley, helpful and made the experience extra special by her attention to detail. An excellent waiter.

We also loved the position of the hotel and the comfort of the rooms. Electric charging n site was a welcome extra.

We will definitely return .

Great service and terrific location
Pros:

The amenities and location at the New Place Hotel make it a wonderful alternative to a standard hotel. The charm, character and grounds made our week long stay here peaceful and enjoyable as we explored the south. Grace, as our evening server, was outstanding as were the reception team, room attendants and friendly ground staff.

Dog friendly
Pros:

We went with our two rescue dogs for two nights and the place was very dog friendly with nice walks on the premises. We had dinner in the restaurant and our waitress Grace was outstanding in making sure everything was perfect and the chef ensured that the vegetarian dishes were tasty and full of protein (risotto).

Weekend break with Charlie the greyhound
Pros:

Lovely house and grounds. Dog friendly. Room a little small but good position. We got a deal which included breakfast and Dinner and the food we received was really good. Prosecco in the room was a nice touch. Emileigh who I believe was new to the bar was friendly and helpful and did a great job sorting out the bill as we had ordered additions to the package we had already paid for and their had been a menu change. We would stay again 🐾

Very clean, fresh, comfortable and relaxing.
Pros:

There was so much about it that I liked - small things that made a difference to our one night there. The radiator was on in the bathroom which meant that towels were always warm. The linen had a lovely fresh smell and the bathroom products were Dove which I love. The beds and pillows were really comfortable too.

Cons:

Nothing.
