We celebrated my husbands 80th birthday there. The venue was perfect the food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. The young man Will who ran the bar for us was a delight, nothing was to much trouble, he helped to make the afternoon and evening go smoothly which everyone enjoyed. Many people stayed over night the rooms and breakfast next day was great too. Thank you to all the staff that helped make the day perfect especially Will and Liberty.
Excellent freshly cooked breakfast very comfortable quality beds Swimming pool was very good excellent location with plenty of parking bar food very good quality
Room clean and ample space
Corridor area tired and in need of refurbishment
Fabulous hotel, we really enjoyed our stay, great value and excellent food.
All the staff were lovely, we'd especially like to thank Lydia, she was very friendly.
Clean and cosy, good variety of hot drinks etc in the room. Nice hand-wash and shower gel. Comfy bed and pillows.
TV didn't have apps ie Netflix also only one bath towel provided (2 guests) there should have been one for each guest.
First time staying at this Hotel & will book again soon! From the warm welcome by Lydia to her service throughout my dinner was exceptional. Great communication & she instantly made me feel relaxed after a long drive. The food was exceptionally delicious, perfect portion size.
A beautiful place to stay. The annexe rooms have everything needed and close to carpark. Housekeeping were lovely and very accommodating.
I don't know what the main building rooms are like but the ground floor rooms are good with the exception of the room door not fitting properly. As they are on the outside of the building there is a tremendous draft from the sides and bottom of the door. Luckily it was not very cold or windy during my stay.
Room beside plant room so humming noise kept me awake all night, staff not sympathetic, told next time I book add a note to say I didn't want that room.
Beautiful main building
Corridors to rooms were a bit grubby and some old and worn furniture
We had a short break to New Place Hotel and couldn't fault the staff who were all lovely! We took our puppy sprocker was only 8 months old and the staff were completely accommodating. You have to take your dinner and breakfast in the bar, but this is no hardship as the bar is warm and welcoming. Callum who worked in the bar was outstanding for the three nights we stayed at the hotel. There's great walks around the hotel for the dog and a dog wash for £4, if your dog is especially muddy!
Very clean. Friendly, bubbly staff.
The bar food was expensive, bland, small portions.
Breakfast was poor. It was cold using cheap ingredients (ie the sausages). The choices on the Continental breakfast were limited
