Fabulous stay here in a 2 bedroom apartment.
Lovely room and a great location in the city, breakfast was expensive but very nice and worth the money
Property is nice with a great view. Biggest issues were that our room was up a set of stairs ,across a short hall, and down more stairs. There were no multiple lower level doors that could have been made 2 way access doors to make this much easier, but they all only had handles on the inside. Our room window didn't fully close, so we could hear all the people at the bar and in the courtyard. Fortunately, we were very tired and this didn't keep us awake long.
One of a kind. Worth it.
A wonderful hotel, beautiful, stylish with kind & curteous staff.
Very comfortable bedroom,clean & spacious.
We enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi too.
The dining room is spectacular, fabulous food in the evening & lovely breakfast too.
We will definitely stay again.
Luxury ambiance, dedicated staff, difficult for infirm person. Floor plan confusing.
Very nice place. The atmosphere, the food, the bars, and the staff.
A great view over Cork. The cocktails in the beautiful Glasshouse were first class, followed by a meal in The Panorama restaurant. The staff are lovely and the accommodation is perfect. A great place to unwind and feel welcome.
Great hotel. We really enjoyed our visit
Not very accessible due to signage and the property stretching over several buildings; very confusing to find my room again and the pool. All the surfaces and light shades were black which doesn’t help for someone with reduced sight. No usb charging points in the room.
Room very comfortable with a bit of a view over Cork. Staff helpful and polite. Expected a little more for 5 star status but ok overall with somewhat old fashioned.
Honestly expected a bit more from a 4-star hotel. The facilities were great and the views exceptional, but service was spotty and the room amenities average.
The glass house was lovely
The movie was fun
The hotel is so clean
The staff was awesome
Beautiful hotel above Cork. The grounds were lovely. The bed was comfortable. Their food was excellent. Great breakfast buffet!
The roads getting there were a bit scary. Very narrow!
Beautiful! Great place!
Fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant with views over the city.
Great location
When we walked into the doors, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who took our luggage while we checked in. I had the most amazing drink in the glass house in the vibes were just perfect.
Best hotel of our Ireland trip! Incredible views and an easy walk to the city center. The breakfast was delicious and the location can’t be beaten. Highly recommend!
This property was one of the best we have stayed at when visiting the UK or Ireland. The rooms were nice and the property was excellent. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Lived that you had access to the athletic club and dinner T the restaurant was too notch. Highly recommend eating there at least once. Close to the train station to go to Cobh. All in all it was a wonderful trip.
My expectations were a bit higher for an SLH and Hilton Property. In full transparency, we booked directly annd other family members booked on Expedia. Unfortunately, the check-in process didn’t acknowledge the status of Hilton for the room, free breakfast, or the discounted dining associated with Hilton. We were charged full price and none of the perks were offered/accepted.
To top it off, the hotel is a bit run down with musty rooms, likely due to the humidity from the showers. The bathrooms were nice and the shower pressure was good. But the room itself was very small and the bed/pillows were mediocre at best. The wait staff were nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet was decent and they offered an ala carte menu on top of the full breakfast buffet at no additional cost. The view from the back deck was great but that really was the highlight of the MonteNotte.
