No bright lights our curtains that would have blacked the room out. Healthy breakfast options. Like boiled eggs or more options.

The manager was initially pleasant upon a late arrival. The following morning, I awoke with a stomach ache (completely liquid) and used the toilet. It immediately filled with filthy water to the rim. I stopped it and called the front desk from the room phone at approximately 8am requesting a plunger. I was told by the woman it would be about 20 minutes. Around 30 minutes later, I went to the front desk to get the plunger - was informed she had taken it to the wrong room.

I attempted for over 5 minutes to unclog the toilet with no success. I left the room (next to the front desk) to request another restroom to use for showers so we could check out and encountered the man who had checked me in the night before in the breakfast area. I asked was there any way we could use another room to shower before leaving due to the toilet issue. He said he needed to “try” to unclog the toilet first.

He followed me into the room and proceeded to attempt to unclog the toilet. After a few attempts, he became increasingly mad. My partner was irritated by this time and was requesting to move rooms for showers. The man said no, we could not move due to a problem “we caused”… my bm was literally liquid.

My partner was upset by the man’s demeanor, which became increasingly hostile. The man yelled to give him the room’s ice bucket to remove the feces water from the toilet, but he grabbed a cup from the wet bar and proceeded to scoop the toilet water into the trash can, sink and tub with no gloves and an 8oz cup. He repeatedly told me we had caused this problem the previous night (it happened at 8am and I called immediately) and accused me of lying - that I didn’t call the front desk at 8am for a plunger and to “prove it” to him - I called from the room and immediately checked the time on my phone to know when to expect assistance. How could I “prove it”?

Heavy smell of curry during the day.

The luggage carts are the hardest to maneuver that I have ever seen. It literally took two people to get it from the parking lot to the room. They should be replaced.

Same food everyday almost, got omelets one day instead of scrambled eggs. Bathroom was small. Tv was horrible. Netflix didn’t work til last day. No WiFi on the tv, so couldn’t get apps to work til last day.

Bathroom shower was not clean. Had a used bar of soap laying on the shower floor.
Never received a receipt by email after checking out as discussed with individual working the desk.
Had to call three (3) times until I reached someone that could actually send a receipt to me.
Receipt was not correct. I was charged for two (2) nights instead of one (1) night. Did call and talk to manager on Tuesday July 7th about being charged for an extra night. Still waiting for this error to be corrected along with returning the deposit.

We did not like the room. It is institutional, not warm and welcoming. The floors do not have carpet the decor is not welcoming.
