Hello, the lobby had a pool smell all the time. The AC in the rooms was loud and always cold. The rooms were clean. The food was good. We had to walk around and use several elevators to get to the food court which was in the ball room because of renovation.
Got given a room which didn’t look like what I booked so went down and spoke to reception staff. Staff informed me that they was in a rush and apologised for the mistake, stating that the room will be changed in 10mins, and they will give a call or to come back down then.
The Toilet in the first room, which was described as the old tower looked very outdated and there was cracks on the actual seat & the bidet as well.
There was a bathtub, with a shower hose attached, not really shower friendly and modern.
No call back after 30mins, so spoke to reception who didn’t understand English and paused, stating will ask “my friend” and will call you back in 5mins. Still nothing happened after 5mins.
I haf to go to reception again and the receptionist said sorry I forgot (again). Staff showed me my new room and I accepted it, stating this is what I booked.
I had to go back multiple times to chase it, which was annoying.
Sorted out 2 hours after check in. Sat and waited around in my room. Which wasted the time I had to spend in the city.
Being in Jeddah on business, this hotel was recommended by business associates. I stayed 10 nights, so had a good opportunity to see most facilities. The room was very comfortable, though a few aspects were annoying. The toilet seat was broken. It was like that the whole time I was there. The towels were changed every day despite me doing what they requested when you don't want them changed. In fact they make a thing about this with several notices about their green credentials in not doing so much laundry.
The food was good. Buffet for breakfast and Dinner (I never had lunch there). Cooked to order omelets etc also available. Good variety of foods in the buffet, with a slight Asian bias. Service in restaurant was good. The public areas could do with a little maintenance, especially round the entrance. (broken tiles, untidiness, litter, broken step, etc. Generally, very good, very friendly.
bad customer service. hotel staff don't talk to each other. coz one person commits anything the other department has no idea on it.
lack of knowledge on the property current condition. gym is closed under maintenance but reception guy told me sir gym is working you can go to x floor etc.
Check in service poor
disappointed on my birthday. to be honest, i didnt enjoy much, the food was only like 5 kinds and we were only the guest that time. i didnt enjoy the food. the ambience was so dull, the waiter was not friendly. and he was not approachable. maybe i was just expecting too much
Although it’s old property but well maintained by Ramada Management with excellent service team from front desk to service team, all are very cordial and supportive. In fact this was my visit to them and then immediately upgraded to me suite rooms without any additional Charges and given discounts on breakfast as well
All good
the worst hotel
I stayed for more than 45 days along with my team, (working on a project in Jeddah) I got checked in with in 10-15 mnts, (make sure you have reservation in advance, especially in Jeddah and during Ramadan and Haj time),
Rooms are very clean, especially bedsheets and pillows are clean, I love rooms to smell good and they were, washroom / bathrooms are old style still but maintained good and were very clean, Lobby area is so good and comfortable and pleasant
Staff is very attentive, well trained, professional and always smile and freshness on their faces, room service is excellent, Front Desk All the staff, were always available very attentive to their guest request.
Mr. Ali Nasser (GM) is an excellent Manager and a great human being, he personally met me and took my review and comments that I raised and acted the same day and fixed, he got himself a great team and has managed them and trained them professionally,
Their Chief's are excellent, you try Arabic or Indian or Asian food, all were perfect.
Security guards, were very cooperative and very professional.
One thing that I wish was at least good , it is OK but not that good is PARKING in basement, it is a very old construction, so there are lot of pillars, exit and Entry are with same path, but for sure, at entrance, security was available 24/7.
Thank you Ramada team for making my stay comfortable and memorable
Air condition was not working i complain 4 time in two days but after asked for chang the room .despointssd
The warm welcome and assistance I have received at this hotel was remarkable. I arrived a day earlier than my original planned reservation. Despite the hotel being completely full, I was assisted with a nice quiet room. My Platinum status was acknowledged and I have received the perks of being a Wyndham client with status. I wish to send out a BIG thank you to Mr. Abdulqader (ops Manager) and his team, as well as Mr. Ibrahim F&B manager and Mr. Ali the GM.
The hotel is not a new property, however it is well maintained, has a shuttle to the old Jeddah city called “the Balad” and all efforts are made to keep the property and its services spotless. The reason I will return back to this hotel when in Jeddah, is the warm and carrying team of employees. Thank you to all these professionals I met during my 3 day visit.
Not clean. Empty pizza boxes in fridge.
Cleanliness is so so..
Pathetic check in experience. Waiting gor 1 hr with system down. No care and courtesy offered. Cant expect anything worse from a so called “REPUTED” brand of hotel. One of the worst decision to book this hotel for corporate travel.
At the outset, I would like to bring to your attention the lack of competency among the front desk staff, particularly the female employees, in handling guests' requests upon check-in. This has resulted in delayed assistance upon calling from the room. I once asked for housekeeping staff to be sent, but the front desk staff simply replied with an "okay" and never followed up.
During my previous stay, I found a small lizard in the bathroom which greatly frightened my kid. The outdated infrastructure was the root cause of this issue. Additionally, on one occasion, my shower was broken and despite my complaint, nobody bothered to replace it. I had to take a bath in the broken shower.
On my most recent visit, I pressed the room cleaning button in the morning, but it was left unattended until I returned in the evening. I had to request them on the third day to clean my room. My overall experience was quite pathetic, but I have no choice as my company has a contract with Ramada and I am forced to stay here every time I visit Jeddah.
Lastly, the breakfast menu is very monotonous and requires improvement. However, I must mention that the person who makes the omelet for me during breakfast is very humble and I appreciate his good service. God save your image.
Great hotel and staff. I can only recommend. excellent location. A great opportunity to relax. Excellent price-value ratio. It is close to the center and the main attractions. The staff is helpful and very kind.
I am platinum in the loyalty program, yet I did not get any add ons.
At the time of on line booking, I had asked for high floor and nice view and I got a 2nd floor and terrible view on some garbage.
I had no hand towels and floor towel in the room. I passed by the reception to inform them.
The next day, when I came back from work, the room was still not done. I went to reception and they said it was not done because I hadn't lit the signal to do the room. 1st time I see that in a hotel. They cleaned the room during my dinner time however did not place floor and hand towels.
At the time of check out, I asked for the invoice to be sent by email. To this day I still haven't received my invoice by email despite 2 email reminders sent to reply-fe8216797d610c7b72-1581_html-374050926-6146988-29579@emails.wyndhamhotelgroup.com.
In addition to a hotel that is terribly ageing, and far from the one I experienced in the recent past in Bahrain, a terrible experience.
The hotel is at strategic location for me. I normally stay here for easy accessible as well as the rooms are good. Can’t expect more. Value for money. Recommend others to stay and experience. The GM Ms Doaa is amazing
The stay in the hotel is not good due to it is not beyond my expectations. Nobody cleaning the room. Not giving or refilling the service water. TV is very hard to access. No chairs for the operating the laptop.
The service is very poor. It took me one hour to get someone to brink a fork and knife to my room. Just a mess. There were people everywhere but none of them was able to solve a very simple problem: bringing fork and know to a room... unbelievable.
