Ramada Plaza Wuhan Optics Valley

Sixth stay into the hotel. Always clean, good food, fantastic room. The only bad thing this time was that i was supposed to pay just half night the last day since i checked out before 19:00 (it was around 18:45 and they told me that the price would have been half until 19:00) instead i payed all the next night. A part from that, great service as always

Some rooms smell of smoking. Many of staff did not speak English.

The area is very noisy, as there is construction going on for building Subway. The workers work till midnight and start at 6AM

Lovely hotel. Location great but huge amount of construction locally so actually getting to the hotel was very difficult. But two comments. Firstly the air conditioning in the room did not function at all and the heat was unbearable. Even set at <10 degrees C the room temperature was around 27...! Secondly the bar staff whilst very pleasant did don’t know how to make the simplest of drinks... a G&T arrived in separate glasses and the lemon arrived 10 minutes later on a plate! Training opportunity...

Great hotel and service, but in the middle of multiple construction sites.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. i like to express my complimentary thanks to Mr Sam Cheng and Jeff Wu from Concierge Section, for going an extra mile to assist me.

I always stay here and it’s a great hotel. Lots of places to walk around but there is on going construction so it might be congested. Make sure you book your taxi 15 to 20 mins ahead during peak hours. Great service.

It was really nice. I got a free upgrade. Everyone was kind and helpful. They spoke English. I thought it was wonderful. The pool was nice.

We went to Wuhan to see cherry blossoms. The hotel is at in a very convenient location (end of the metro line) with big shopping malls nearby. It is 20-minute taxi drive from Wuhan Station, 10-minute drive away from East Lake Park and Wuhan University. The restaurant where you have breakfast at the hotel is very pretty, very nice decoration! The bathroom is specious, like way too much space. Room is cosy and clean.

I stayed at Ramada Optics Valley Hotel for 7 nights over 2 periods in March 2016. I'm happy to recommend it. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms were large, modern and again very clean.The TV has a number of English language channels to enjoy. I was wanting to stay in the Guanggu area and this is an excellent location - right next to the large shopping centre and also across the road from the Metro station. Some of the hotel staff were very helpful. Others were less so. Some of them spoke English reasonably well. The only negative was that currently there is a very large construction site opposite the hotel with work going on 24 hours a day. In the room facing that way the noise was irritating. However on the 2nd stay I had a room on the opposite side of the hotel and it was much quieter.

Stay for Business - hotel was great location and services were good for Business traveller

Well situated in the busiest part of Optics Valley. Which means the traffic is bad at peak hours. Minutes away from pedestrian street. But everything close early......

This is a very nice hotel and it is reasonably priced. The Wifi is good, the beds comfortable, nice bathrooms, and friendly staff. There is a bit of road noise that you can hear, even if you are up on one of the higher floors. Nice oasis in the high tech and university area of Wuhan

Hotel is in a very busy location. So busy that it is having traffic jam almost at all time. A little noisy if you are facing the round about. Otherwise it is in a very good location with everything within walking distance.

No one speaks English. At. All. Not great for business.

I recommend this hotel. The room in which I stayed was large and comfortable. When I arrived at the hotel the concierge was very helpful in dealing with the taxi driver who had not used the metre until halfway in from the airport. Reception staff were always helpful and accommodating with helping with translating directions, arranging taxis etc. I did not eat at the hotel which could have been a mistake as the local restaurant food was not that good. There is a plaza next to the hotel, but the neighborhood is busy and taffic congested due to the subway construction.
