⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am a regular guest at Hyatt House Parsippany, staying here almost every year, and this visit truly stood out. Despite arriving during a snowstorm, the hotel operations were exceptional. The property was continuously cleared, brine was proactively sprayed, and all services ran seamlessly. Most impressive was the commitment of the staff everyone turned up, stayed attentive, and ensured guest safety and comfort without a single hiccup.
This level of preparedness and execution during extreme weather speaks volumes about the team and management. Truly dependable hospitality. Kudos to the entire Hyatt House Parsippany team well done!

was unaware about paying for parking
Location
Paying for parking
The room was excellent. It was a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms and two king size beds. The kitchen was fully equipped. The breakfast buffet had the usuals (scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages and hash browns. Also hot and cold cereals and muffins, etc...).
The only negatives were the coffee maker. Most hotels we have stayed at now have small Keurig machines with one or two regular and decaf pods that they replenish as needed. We had a single coffee maker that used packets of coffee. The coffee was not good at all. Also we had to pay for parking, which is something we have not encountered anywhere else .
The hotel itself was nice, and the breakfast was satisfactory. The front desk was rude and not helpful at all! I had to ask to speak with a manager to resolve my concerns!
It was an excellent experience, and Arminta (I think that’s her name, she was working graveyard shift) she was super nice and friendly.
Everything
The hotels overall appearance and rooms were very, very, very clean. The lobby had a nice refreshing scent at entry. The front desk staff were very friendly. It was a nice, quiet comfortable stay. The continental breakfast had a lot of choices .
The downside to the hotel was the $15 daily parking fee. The breakfast was ok, we would’ve preferred a waffle machine over the microwaveable pancakes. Also, I don’t recall seeing hand sanitizer upon entry into that area.
Breakfast staff was nice. Maintenance staff responsive.
Most of the courtyard lighting didn't work. Bar was closed.... on a weekend in the summer travel season! Couldn't get extra pillows because "housekeeping had left". The breakfast for quality was meh at best. The room was nice but lacked charm (e.g. curtains) and the prices at the "H Mart" were outrageous ($7 for a bottle of water?). Making guests pay to park is also stupid.
Friendly
Pool isn’t 24hours
I picked the location at random, only because it was near a place I had to go for an event but that location was exceedingly expensive. Hyatt House was beyond expectations. Clean, well laid out, not typical hotel boilerplate design and furnishings. My two interactions with staff were beyond exceptional (I have a high standard for customer service.) Breakfast was substantial. The market had a nice selection of beers (I like beer and they were real beers not that flavored water that is passed off as beer. I didnt have it for breakfast. ) I was beyond super impressed. I was only sorry that I was only staying one night.
Why does one have to pay for parking? I thought that was a little egregious. (Admittedly, I was comped because I was only staying one night but seriously...) Is the fee going to the hotel? Or some 3rd party and if so what are they doing with the fees they collect? Maintaining the parking lot? The app via the QR code (I hate QR codes) was very laborious and tedious to process. I like to think I am somewhat technically savvy but eventually I gave up. It seemed a lot of work for a one night stay.
The room was very clean and spacious
They make you scan and pay for parking (they have PLENTY parking) parking should not cost anything
Room was very comfortable, kitchen was amazing.
When we got there the elevator was not working, next day it was working.
