Pros:

The staff were all superb - everyone in the restaurant and bar was so nice and the attention to detail was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, bed was so comfy, shower was great, room was clean and the spa was lovely - especially as we had the whole place to ourselves.

Convenient for our requirements.
Pros:

Breakfast had a good variety but we were disappointed with the quality of the bread available.

Cons:

Disappointed with the appearance of the Garden Wing! We felt it was very out of character to the rest of the Hotel.
It was just a Concrete Block but fortunately the rooms were comfortable.

Good value for money. Try avoid the garden wing if you can.
Pros:

Property facilities were great. Leisure facility was a good bonus for the price. Restaurant again was good for the price. In general the setting, the main house and the grounds were wonderful.

Cons:

The leisure area was in need of a refurb and a deep clean in the changing room area. Most of the lockers were also broken.
On booking the hotel we expected to stay in the main building however we were in the garden wing; which I would say looked more like a soviet prison than the lovely house. There was no images of this or mention that this is where we would be staying; overlooking a car park.

Pretty views across the fields and polite and attentive staff

Cons:

Broken window in room which was also a health and safety hazard, tired and worn decor which made it feel uncomfortable and not clean, and cobwebs and spiders in room.

Brilliant breakfast, average evening meal.
Pros:

The rooms were clean & tidy, the breakfast was fantastic & the grounds are very impressive.

Cons:

The evening meal was a very small portion, lukewarm & not the best.
The side wing where our rooms were situated needs a lot of work, it looks dated & in need of some TLC.
Lots of scuffed paint, missing trim etc.
