We are very disappointed!!
Pros:

The staff were all quite pleasant, and the breakfast and evening meals were very good.
The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

We were situated above the bar and terrace area. On our last night there was a gathering of sorts going on,
which was unbearably loud,
This went on for a long time, until around 11-45pm.
Yes, we should have phoned reception but surely, the staff could have kept the noise down.

Pros:

Nothing really

Cons:

Reception desk staff charging more than the price quoted. I noticed the payment amount of £189 on the card machine and pointed it out before it was rectified
We checked in around 7pm but the room wasn't ready as they were changing the room to Twin beds even though they were informed of a Twin room three months previously
Only one bath towel provided for two guests
Breakfast was cold, sausages undercooked

Pros:

Lovely evening walk in the grounds, friendly welcome, good breakfast (continental cheeses, fruit and meats, Greek yogurt and compote etc. Hot breakfast is a buffet but a great selection. Garden wing are nice rooms but exterior a bit of a brutalist block, but Manor House is where all the facilities are and lovely having a drink on the terrace or Italian garden. Few more blooms and bit of attention on the plants (half dead conifer by the restaurant door) didn't detract from a great stay, especially for the price. Pool and jacuzzi in the spa were lovely too

Been there many times and generally a pleasant stay, but less so this time.
Pros:

Surrounding farmlands gave a feel of being in the country. Location to Abingdon and Oxford.
Staff always approachable and helpful.

Cons:

Room was very hot - had no air conditioning.
Marketing advertised use of indoor pool, sauna etc but access was limited because external swim school providers booked the pool for hours at a time.

Nice place to stay and would go back again. Location, rooms and onsite bar are all good.
Pros:

A nice quiet spot surrounded by grassland. Rooms are modern and clean. Bar menu is nice.

Beds comfortable and the building with grounds a great bonus.
Pros:

Wonderful building with pool and spa .
Sadly did not have time to try pool etc.
Great breakfast choice. Staff did go the extra mile.

Cons:

Rooms in annexe incredible warm - heat wave in UK . Housekeeping did bring us two fans which helped enormously.
