Centara Life Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon

The hotel has relatively new facilities. It is close to the Palace and old Bangkok area. The riverside is a short distance away. The rooms are clean and spacious. Good value for money.

Great hotel, great location, great facilities, great breakfast and great staff. We had a wonderfull stay in this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The facility was very clean and the buffet breakfast was good!

The hotel is modern and nice itself. Breakfast buffet is also good. However, I didn’t like the lack of understanding and support from their staff. They didn’t allow me to keep my luggage and pick it up the next day in the morning. I understood their policies but I please asked them to keep my big luggage paying a storage fee because I was going to travel to Pattaya in small van and there will not be enough space. They did not understand me and help me with this special request.

I also had another problem when I asked a special confirmation letter.

El hotel está bien ubicado, cerca de todas las zonas turísticas importantes y puedes llegar a ellas a pie o tomar un transporte con facilidad.
La limpieza estuvo magnífica, la atención del personal increíble y la app de concierge es algo muy funcional.
Las calles alrededor no son las más pintorescas, pero uno se siente seguro.
Hay un 7eleven muy cerca y un templo enfrente, muy bien para visitar!!

“I had an uncomfortable experience during my stay. A Thai friend came to pick me up, but the hotel was reluctant to let him park because he wasn’t a guest. Although they eventually allowed it after I spoke to the staff, the situation caused unnecessary embarrassment. Later, when my friend came to collect his car, staff made him wait and even questioned whether he would return the next day.

I understand that hotels want to manage their parking, but the way it was handled felt unfriendly and disrespectful. A more professional and guest-friendly approach would make a big difference. Allowing short-term parking for visitors, especially when they are simply picking up or dropping off a guest, would create a much better impression.”

The staff was excellent and the food options was very good. My husband and I enjoyed staying there as well as exploring the local night markets.

If you have ever wondered what it is like to live inside a highway, book this place. The windows are so acoustically useless that you will be serenaded by traffic at 5 a.m. sharp, whether you asked for a wake up call or not.

The bathroom is its own comedy act. You cannot turn on the light without flooding the entire room with fluorescent glory. Perfect if you enjoy midnight interrogations every time someone uses the toilet.

The hotel claims to be tech savvy with handy QR codes, but the one thing you actually want, the Wi Fi, is missing. I gave up, resigned to life without internet, possibly becoming a better person, but mostly just annoyed.

In a moment of weakness I braved the QR system to order room service. Half an hour later I checked the app to find no evidence of my order, so I phoned reception just to be sure. This small act was met with instant hostility, as though daring to confirm my food existed was a personal insult. When the meal did arrive, it came in a paper bag, featuring the worst carbonara I have ever seen: noodles floating in water with a half cooked egg tossed on top. All served on paper plates with wooden cutlery. It might have been funny if I had not been charged a premium for the experience.

The air conditioning is like NASA control panel meets tractor engine. Loud, baffling, and guaranteed to keep you awake just in case the traffic did not.

On booking it proudly claims to have a 30 metre pool. Spoiler alert, it does not.

To be fair, the staff were genuinely friendly in passing, and the location is decent for exploring. But we have stayed in several hotels nearby, and this one proudly takes the crown as the worst of the lot. A true overachiever in disappointment.

Modern hotel with all amenities including 24 hour security. We were very impressed with this hotel and stayed for a second time when returning to Bangkok. Room was spotless and quiet. Smoking is ok on the balcony. Short walk to Koh San Rd. If you can’t be bothered walking they have a free shuttle from 16:00 daily. MRT to airport is not far away by Bolt/Grab. Wonderful front desk team especially Folk who always had a warm smile. Check in and out was very fast.
Great place to stay and will not hesitate to do so again.
