The hotel needs to improve the communication between the stuff and check that the amenities are always working inside and outside the property. Foods is excellent. The junior suite the rooms needs renew as well as the bathrooms.

Fabulous hotel, luxurious room with own balcony with loungers. Staff were fantastic in every way. Food was great. Overall a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend

Want happy with the fact that water kept being turned off for a very long time. Had to complain and get upset for it to be turned back on.
Loved the room and restaurant. Was not happy with the half board option of going to tropical restaurant for lunch. It was not clean and floors everywhere and very dirty on tables.

Very disappointed with our experience, I wouldn't classify this as a 4 star hotel its at most a three star. The rooms were quite old and run down and the same with the facilities. The restaurant felt very unclean, we saw crows eating some of the food at breakfast, flies in the butter dishes and were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. We left after one night.
The hotel is very good but needs some revamping, the tiolet fixtures are old and corroded, the rooms are very clean but need to be upgraded.
The food choices are very good however the staff really needs some motivation. They are extremely slow and not customer oriented.
We waited almost an hour just to get snacks.
Overall, the location and setup is very good but the hotels really needs an upgrade for it to be 💎
Great hotel comfortable stay
Beautiful hotel with very helpful and kind, smiley staff who made a huge and much appreciated effort to make our stay as happy as possible. My only criticism was the very slow service in the beach restaurants.
Our room was large and airy with lots of space in both the bedrooms and bathrooms but mattress was rather hard!

Service is at times taken to the next level. Very attentive and friendly staff who can cater for many requests and make you feel like a friend rather than a guest. Dining options are plentiful, and Saturday evenings they have a bbq, the real treat, though, is the Jambo cake dance;)
Location is superb , overlooking the Indian Ocean.
The hotel and staff where all amazing.Could not fault anything, so relaxing. Thinking of going back in September.

Fantastic place to stay the only thing I can complain is the bathrooms floor and the shower room tiles needs bleach and scrubbing.

Fantastic views, excellent architecture, excellent food, wonderful and caring service from the restaurant (Timothy, Dolla, Constance, Mariam, Jussy, Raphael, Josephat, Hussein), to the rooms (Michael), to reception (Collins) and, of course, the chefs.
We had an infant, and the hotel made him feel like a little King. We will be forever grateful. THANK YOU.
This 5* hotel is located on the beach which we didn't go on as when you went near the "beach boys" would be straight at you. The hotel is Ok but what stands out is the staff - they go above and beyond for you. The food, which is mainly cooked to order, is of good quality and enjoyable - sometimes the menu description wasn't always what you got though. The rooms are large and spacious and were clean - the air con is not the best. The bathroom is large but does not have air con so it was like walking into an oven and was not pleasant. The pool was a good size with a large area for sun beds but with very few beds there. The few beds that are there are very old. The spa pool is lovely with extremely comfy beds and very peaceful but you have to pay extra for that. I don't know where the 5* rating comes from but you have to remember you're in East Africa. If this hotel had a refurb it could be a fantastic place - I will miss it and the lovely people that work here.
There is some room for improvement (mainly just improving cleanliness around the pool) but overall a lovely stay, nice to not be charged for extras like a cup of coffee; very helpful and kind staff.
