We’re staying at Rotana Fujairah in April 2026 - given the entire situation it’s commendable how these guys continue their service top notch! The staff is working with complete dedication and efficiency. Hotels overall facilities, cleanliness, restaurants are all operational and very welcoming. Overall this location is much safer as we did not get any alerts.

We planned a trip after a year and what a warm welcome by the Leadership Team and Mr.Sriram who ensured a very breezy check in amid Eid rush. No trip is complete without a fun rendezvous with Mr Leo , fabulous person to chat with, and the very approachable Mr Alok who ensures we are engaged and always around.

Housekeeping, especially Charles, surprised our kids with thoughtful touches like coloring books, and the turndown service by Zen was simply delightful—he even crafted a cute towel toy for our daughter, which absolutely made her day!
We also had a great experience at Sharkey’s Bar thanks to Rizwa, whose friendly and attentive service stood out.
Last but definitely not least, a big thank you to Roopesh, the bellboy who assisted us during checkout with efficiency and kindness, leaving us with a lasting positive impression.

Shar from Housekeeping truly made my stay exceptional. Her attention to detail, professionalism and warm attitude stood out every day. We had a great stay in Fujairah Rotana, we originally booked for a night and decided to extend as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mazrouk from reception was gracious to allocate a nice room for us.
We also enjoyed our dining experience at Mozaique, Jehangir looked after us and a big shout out to Xiebel who always ensure we are well taken care. Kudos to you Xiebel and rooting for your career growth.

I stayed one night with my friends at Fujairah Rotana, and it was truly an amazing experience from check-in to check-out. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and very welcoming.
The staff were extremely professional and attentive throughout our stay. The restaurant cleanliness was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious.
A special mention to Mr. Dhiraj — such an amazing personality! He gave us a wonderful tour of the resort and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time.

Everything was very good. The service is nice and helpful, the food is very tasty and varied. The beach is clean, with plenty of sunbeds,which are free. Great satisfaction.

The hotel is very beautiful, thank you for your service. Especially thanks to Nadima, who upgraded our room like a compliment, it was really nice, view to the sea, 1 minute from the beach and comfortable room. Unfortunately, the hotel is far from airport and it was very long time to arrive in. There was almost no cafes around and only couple of shops across the street. We had all inclusive so it wasn’t problem for us.
I have an extraordinary stay with a welcoming staff in Fujairah Rotana. It was really a memorable stay especially all the amenities are really special.
On 10.02.2026 I was denied entry to breakfast at [restaurant/location] for allegedly violating the dress code. A staff member stated that my underwear/swimwear was “see-through” and that “swimwear is not allowed.” I calmly accepted the remark and went to change.
However, immediately afterwards I saw other guests inside the restaurant wearing outfits that looked more revealing and also involved visible/see-through underwear—such as guests with clearly visible lingerie and a guest wearing a mesh dress over a swimsuit. Compared to this, my outfit appeared no less compliant with the stated requirements.
When we asked the staff member why I was turned away, we received contradictory explanations that felt like arbitrary interpretation of the rules. The conversation was roughly as follows:
Staff: “Your swimsuit is see-through; swimwear is not allowed.”
Us: “But another guest’s underwear is visible.”
Staff: “A bra showing is OK, but underwear is not.”
In another instance, we were told that the guest in the mesh dress “came in from outside,” which effectively suggests that the rules are applied unevenly or can be bypassed.
I would also like to emphasize that I had a strong feeling of discriminatory treatment. I am Russian, and given the current political situation, I cannot exclude the possibility that the staff showed bias based on nationality in my case. I understand this is a sensitive topic, but as a hotel guest I expect respectful and equal treatment regardless of citizenship or politics.
As a result, I felt humiliated and discriminated against: some guests are stopped at the entrance while others, in similar situations, are not. A dress code may be strict, but it must be clearly defined, applied equally to everyone, and communicated respectfully—without humiliating guests or showing any signs of bias.
Lack of guest privacy protection and staff inaction
During our stay, a large group of guests arrived (it appeared to be an organized group, possibly related to filming). These guests were constantly recording on their phones in the hotel’s public areas, including the beach and pool. Other guests were regularly captured on camera, including close-ups and filming from a short distance.
We understand that guests may want to film the hotel property, but filming other vacationers without their consent—especially at the beach/pool—creates a feeling of insecurity and is a serious violation of personal boundaries. We expressed our concerns; however, the only reaction came from the lifeguard staff.
As a result, we cannot relax: it is uncomfortable to sunbathe, swim, or even walk around the hotel because there is a constant risk of being recorded in someone else’s photos/videos, including while wearing swimwear. This raises a clear question: who is responsible for ensuring guests’ safety and privacy on the hotel premises?
I am very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We arrived early in the morning after two flights and with a 3 Yr old child only to be told that we can't check in until 15.00 that day but they would give us water. We can upgrade for over $700 and then we can check in. I also book all inclusive but only to find out that it isnt really all inclusive. Yes breakfast lunch dinner but if my little one wanted a snack from the bar we would have to pay towards it, also we only can a handful of cocktails and drinks finish at 22.00, but we can upgrade to ultra all inclusive for £30 per person a day to get more. So not all inclusive. Option when looking up holidays in general.... Breakfast, half board, full board and all inclusive. I didnt see ultra all inclusive, super inclusive or ultra ultra inclusive. Very very disappointed. I travel all over the world and been to many great places and thought I would try this location. I paid out more to come to UAE and the travel was longer for not all inclusive and not even able to check in when I arrived at my hotel.
