It was my first hotel experience, so I didn't know what to expect. But Mantra really impressed me with all the facilities, availabilities and access to local stores and restaurants. Definitely coming back for sure😊
Some areas in the room were still dirty, and the inside of the couch was also dirty. The foxtel remote was difficult to operate.

Exhaust fans in the bathrooms weren't operational. Showers leaked plenty of water onto the bathroom floor.

3rd time staying at mantra and it will be our last. The only “hotel” quality about the place is the reception. The lady who checked us in was rude (may have been her culture hard to tell or if she was having a bad day. Apartments are individually owned and the room they gave us wasn’t like the one in the photo which was the room we got last time. Our 3 bedroom apartment was old and run down, 2 toilets didn’t work. One has a massive crack and leaked so they tried to super glue it. We stayed for 8 days and it was discovered on checking in. Because the rooms are individually owned they wouldn’t move us or compensate us.

Very outdated rooms. Mould in bathroom and dirty walls. The rooms are very outdated. When you wash your hands in the sink the water splashes out and onto you as the plug stays in (have to lift it up to drain water). The tiny canvas print artworks kept falling off the wall. The carpark was extremely confusing. Also when we asked for towels for the pools and had misplaced our token the staff weren’t very accommodating and friendly.
Location is the only thing you are paying for.
The rooms are very rundown. Upon arriving we found nuts stuck in the couch and our child is allergic. So that was concerning. The bathroom has mould all through it and we didn’t receive fresh towels for a week stay. The curtains also had spots of mould in the rooms. The bedding was also very poor, with sheets used as blankets and a thin throw. Most nights were cool.

The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance, the bathroom sink in particular was gross.
The beds were not comfortable, the washing machine smelled gross - did a double load of dettol wash before even contemplating putting my clothes in. They were also a bit tight with the toilet paper. I also don't think a 5 night stay without the rooms being serviced once is reasonable.

the sliding door in the bedroom didn’t seal properly & it was extremely loud sounded like a kazoo all night. We had to keep it the door slightly open all night due to the noise. Maintenance came the next day to fix but said there was nothing they could do as the door seals are not due to be changed yet.
