A nice stay
Pros:

The room was comfortable and the hotel well placed for our purposes. The bar staff were very friendly. The food was nice.

Cons:

Wine glasses we brought from the bar to our room on the first night remained in the room for the duration of the stay and were not collected in two separate house keeping cycles. A minor point but we were surprised they were not cleaned up each day given we had them on the desk prominently placed for just that. We also were surprised at the 10am check out, which we had presumed would be 11am. We noted that every place we stayed had the same checkout time of 10am so must be a NZ thing. On the Sunday most of the restaurants nearby were closed or had very restricted timings which were not tourist friendly.

Relaxing environment

Very relaxing location great accomodating staff

Cons:

Bar shuts a bit early even after arranging to remain open after wedding guests returned which was quite a few they shut the bar this was very disappointing due to the number of international customers

Pros:

It was our honeymoon night and we had the romantic package. It was very lovely.
