Impeccable service from every aspect of this hotel from arrival to departure. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Extremely professional and helpful staff from checkin, restaurants, bell staff and housekeeping. Cannot say enough. One of our best stays ever. Wish we could have stayed longer than our 3 nights to take advantage of the spa and other restaurants. Highly recommended.
Muy buen hotel buenas instalaciones buen servicio y muy bien ubicado
Magnifique Palace ,bien localisé en centre-ville,avec d’excellents restaurants.
As a frequent traveler and Hyatt Globalist, I had heard quite a bit about how wonderful this property was, so my expectations were high, and the hotel exceeded all of my expectations with a truly fantastic stay!
Prior to my trip, I was in touch with the concierge who were so incredibly helpful with all of my plans, including arranging a tango show at the Café de los Angelitos. This show was the highlight of my trip, and just a one of a kind experience! Shout out to Lucio and Jose from the concierge team who arranged everything! After my stay, I received a very kind email from Magali Brandariz, the Chief Concierge thanking me for completing the survey and for my feedback, and welcoming me back in the future.
The hotel emailed me ahead of time to confirm arrival and departure times, and provided excellent information.
Once at the property, Andrea checked me in, and followed up via WhatsApp with a transportation question I had.
During my short stay, I received an email from Gustavo advising me that my room was ready, as well as a follow up from Abigail ensuring that everything was perfect.
As a Hyatt Globalist, I was upgraded to an INCREDIBLE executive suite, found a kind note from the GM, an amenity waiting for me, as well as a complimentary cocktail at the hotel bar!
Every single staff member was incredibly professional, gracious and hospitable, and ensured a perfect stay.
I could not have had a more perfect stay, and my only regret is that I only had 1 night in Buenos Aires, and I wish I had stayed longer! I very much look forward to returning in the near future to Buenos Aires and staying at this truly luxurious world class property!

One night stay on my way through Buenos Aires to get to Patagonia
The service was completely superb. Pre arrival arrangements, meet and greet at the airport, arrival at hotel and during snd after stay. Some of the very best I have experienced.
The hotel is beautifully designed outside and in. Tranquil and modern based on the old building design
Room wise, i had booked a suite but was upgraded to the Alvear suite. Thank you! This was extremely spacious and beautifully designed.
Food and drink wise i wanted to try the restaurant but as i was tired post travel i had room service. I checked out early so only time for a quick breakfast. Lovely to sit outside and a good buffet selection (I didnt try the a la carte option)
Extremely highly recommend. Just a pity my trip was so short and i hope to come back and spend more time with family at some point.
Amazing ambience, location and staff
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and it really is a place, the rooms, staff, food and design are all scale with a first class world capital luxury hotel. The only issue we (two couples) had was with the fitness center. It is perfectly equipped but comically small, with space for maybe six people to use it comfortably. Adding to the joke, the fitness center is actually a “club” so while you’re in there, members are showing up with their personal trainers taking up even more space. A beautiful hotel of this scale should have a properly sized fitness facility, especially if it dual-purposed as a membership club.
This is a first rate hotel, well located, with excellent staff, great restaurants and a magnificent garden that allows one to escape the hustle bustle of the city.
I spent four nights at Palacio Duhau and, even among Hyatt's generally excellent high-end hotels, this is a winner. The staff is fabulous, and plentiful. I felt there was nothing they would not do to make guests comfortable and welcome—and especially as an older, solo traveler I definitely felt both. The location, in the nice Recoleta neighborhood, is also great and I felt safe walking there even at night.
The "Palacio" part of the hotel is a palatial residence from the early 1900s, facing Av. Alvear. and the property runs through the block to the next street. A nice modern 17-story tower, with a small footprint, has another lobby and entrance on Posadas. In between the two buildings is a beautiful terraced garden that is a wonderful, quiet oasis in the city. All three of the restaurants have terraces facing the garden, the food was excellent (though pricey), and the ambience of eating in the garden (during my wintertime at home) was priceless.
I chose a room in the Posadas tower because I like modern and had a spacious, corner room overlooking the garden. The room had lots of daylight, an intelligent layout, separate tub and shower, all the conveniences one expects at a good hotel, nice materials and finishes, and something I rarely find in hotels—a very comfortable lounge chair and comfortable desk. (I did not see the rooms in the other building, but expect they are lovely also, as the whole hotel is). Beneath the garden, an art gallery connects the two buildings and there is a large and peaceful pool for swimming under the original building—it was always quiet, and only adults when I swam.
My only criticism of the hotel (and it goes for Argentina in general) is that at least one of the garden stairs from the upper building level to the Posadas level—the preferred connection— should have a handrail. Even though the stairs have some lighting, the dark stone is not easy to see and there is nothing to hold on to, for example after it rains or in the dark. (Interior access between the buildings requires a series of elevators and/or stairs).
I may not get back to Buenos Aires again, but hope others enjoy this hotel as much as I did.
One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. A peaceful, elegant oasis in a busy part of Buenos Aires. 5 star in every category
Superb hotel, sublime service and a stunning property. We were in the new section on the top floor. The room befit a luxury property and was overall top notch. Not a single complaint.
Service was exceptional throughout our stay. Great location in the heart of Recoleta. The included breakfast was excellent with full a la - carte plus buffet service - sitting outside in the magnificent gardens overlooking the old palace was a highlight.
The Concierge went over and beyond with consistent WhatsApp service, making reservations on the fly and even finding us a last minute shopping item we discovered at a restaurant!
Strongly recommended.
Above all, the staff at the Park Hyatt are superb -- knowledgeable, helpful, proactive, and charming. Our room was extremely comfortable -- great bed linens and an intelligent layout and use of space. The breakfast was substantial and varied: what's more it was available until 11:00 am -- a generous deadline for which we were extremely grateful. Finally, this is a truly beautiful property, clean, tastefully decorated and maintained, and situated in one of the most elegant neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires.
Just one caution: because of the nature of the property -- two buildings spanned by a cascade of green gardens above ground and a spacious marble passageway beneath -- there are a number of different levels to negotiate. Elevators as well as stairs are available to accommodate the differences.
Excellent service, atmosphere, food, and wine. A wonderful experience. I will certainly return when next in Buenos Aires.
