Pros:

The staff were good, along with the shower and breakfast (I appreciate that is a random comment).

Cons:

The rooms were very basic. Had problems shaving as there wasn’t a plug in the small sink.

Pour un passage dans les Costwods
Pros:

L'hôtel a du charme, c'est ce que nous recherchions et il est bien placé pour visiter les Costwolds.

Cons:

La chaleur dans la chambre ! et juste une petite fenêtre qui s'ouvrait sur le passage des voitures.
2 bouteilles d'eau étaient offertes mais à température ambiante puisqu'il n'y a pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, donc imbuvables.
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas totalement en libre -service , il faut commander pour tout ce qui est cuit et chaud, et seulement 1 fois .

Pleasant, comfortable stay
Pros:

The stay had everything promised so no complaints. The location was different to what I’d expected, Moreton in marsh is quite large and has a Railway station. This hotel is actually in Blockley which is very small; cute but not much there.

Cons:

Only complaint is the window sill in the bathroom, the same dead fly was there for the whole of our 3 night stay.

Hotel of character in picturesque village.
Pros:

Lovely quiet village location.
Sri Lankan menu was very good in the restaurant.
A hotel full of character.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Decor a bit tired in places.
The bar was a bit cramped and noisy.
Breakfast was good but limited choice.

Pros:

Was a large, bright room even though limited natural light, facilities were good. Very comfortable bed.
Food in the restaurant was good.

Cons:

Dated communal areas and claustrophobic shower.
Rooms incredibly hot - needed better ventilation.

Awesome location, breakfast and management group
Pros:

Very very good location. the best thing is the manager and his work team are very professional and kindly, easygoing and try to do best helping me extend 4 more days here as I really love my room with good views…. I am also very satisfied with the breakfast, very delicious and rich in nutrition …as well as it is closed to Cafe and grocery, bus station….go for fun and back home everyday, for sure I will be back here and let my friends know it and come here

Enjoyable stay very friendly staff
Pros:

Obviously a fabulous location with parking. All the staff were very friendly

Cons:

Our room was a tad dated just small things that could bring this hotel up a level. The shower head needed a good clean and descale the leaver on the shower was also very stiff. The stool by the dressing table was stained on the seat. Small things but would lift the overall feel to the place

Stay was ok, very little going on in the rest of the village.
Pros:

The staff were brilliant. The bar was lovely and cosy.

Cons:

The building is beautiful but tired inside, dining room, terrace and bar where excellent. Room was clean but needed some TLC, mattress was uncomfortable and curtains were old and hooks needed replacement. The room above ours the occupants were constantly walking backwards and forwards on the creaky floorboards keeping us awake. Old mattresses and bed frame stacked up behind the car park, so bit of a mess.

Just an overnight stop to facilitate a visit to Longborough Opera, but a very pleasant stay with friendly staff.
