Good room with a sofa area too.
The place is so clean, the staff are amazing. The facilities are everything you could ask for. I ask for my bottle to be filled up in the mornings, they put ice in it. They helped me book a taxi They were never put out by anything, really welcoming anc as a woman traveling on my own, i felt safe and so looked after. I couldnt recommend this place enough. Thank you and in my eyes you are 5 star quality
Good if you need to stay in Blockley. Staff were friendly, the hotel had free parking at the back. Bed was comfortable
The hotel is pretty basic. In the breakfast restaurant the coffee comes from a machine, it was watery, not great and reminded me of the coffee from vending machines at work. Some freshly made filter coffee would have been appreciated. The decor throughout is dated, dusty behind bedside tables in our room.
Character old hotel in quiet Cotswold town. Excellent service, decent dinner. Good value for money.
It was better than expected.
Lovely location, very polite and friendly staff.
I think the menu could do with being expanded to give more variety.
Charming
Not much
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient, the village itself is a hidden gem. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable. A few notes: if you're staying in the upper single rooms, #29 had only one neighbor (so does #27). You do hear the noises and TV through the door. I would suggest the hotel implemented summer sorry of a silent hour or give warning to the guests in those rooms to keep TV quiet during a certain period of time, say 11 pm till 7 am. You need to really up just a few steps - just to keep in mind if that's an issue. The shower in the corner room #29 is designed for a wheelchair access (I didn't need it but appreciated the space). However, as others have noted, the water collects on the flat floor - so make sure to request an extra towel to put on the floor. It's with dating that the staff tried fixing the drain when I mentioned the extra collection of water. Breakfast was nice- three staff kindly prepared a sandwich for an extra early departure. The view is nice from the window, there are a few footpaths nearby. The restaurant is open longer than the other two places in the village. The lamb shank was humongous and so delicious, and mashed potatoes were really good. The
Just a few suggestions to fix the few annoyances: 1. I would suggest providing a thin sheet besides the duvet: it gets really hot in the room. 2. The fan didn't help really: the rattling noise from the fan was canceling the relief of the airflow it was supposed to provide so I didn't use it. So I suggest checking the fans for the noise. 3. The nail for a hook on the wall in the bathroom doesn't leave a good impression: it can be easily fixed by putting even a simple nice hook instead :) 4. The curtain in the room was off the hooks and the thin shade could use a washing. 5. A screen on the window would be useful- the windows needed to be open for the airflow but I had a wasp fly inside the room.
Convenient and very friendly

Great food and excellent staff.
The Crown was ok but Blockley, although a lovely place, is a one night stay.
Very friendly staff and a great location.
The hotel is spoilt from a lack of attention with cleaning as well as upkeep of the property.
Great location, comfortable room
Good local walks
Nothing but I did pick a very busy weekend to stay!!
Location was great, breakfast was good and staff were super friendly and helpful
It’s an old building, no doubt challenge upkeep, needs some painting in places, carpets refitting, but nothing too bad.
