Séjour magique dans un endroit serein.
Pros:

Très belle établissement historique de charme au coeur d’une région magique.

Cons:

L’hôtel est un peu négligé et mérite un rafrechissement. Les terrasses sont mal entretenues comme la totalité de la structure. Dommage pour cet bel endroit.

Cons:

Hotel is obviously in need of refurbishment in places, lots of chipped paint etc.
Poor breakfast.. fruit ? An apple or an orange?? .. nothing freshly prepared, poor yoghurt options . No natural, eggs? Can't have poached or boiled, ..pappy sliced mass produced bread.. in fact the food overall was mediocre (I didnt have any Thai option at dinner .. I'm told they're great.. but the rest ? Prepared stuff ..catering on the cheap ... for £189 for one night (I know it was Bank Holiday) ???
Should I be satisfied with the cost and quality of food, just because its BH ?? No, there should be consistency of standards

It is a good location and the staff are attentive.

Cons:

The rooms are old fashioned and need refurbishing especially at the price we paid. If it were cheaper it would be more acceptable.

Very enjoyable stay and we felt that we were welcome.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was nice too. The building was nice.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have sheets on the beds as well as duvets. It was hot, and this would have made it cooler.

Would recommend, definitely eat here of a evening.
Pros:

Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Excellent service. Food delicious especially the Sri Lanka curry.

Cons:

Entrance to car park a bit tight, wouldn't like to meet another car exiting

Felt very overpriced for a very average room
Pros:

It’s in a great location in beautiful Blockley

Cons:

The room was very cramped. The bathroom was tiny and nowhere was very clean. Skirting boards were fifths which was a sign that other areas were not being cleaned.

I was expecting to have a room in the historic hotel rather than an annex at the back; however it worked ok.
