Delightful stay
Pros:

Beautiful setting, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was superb. The bacon was very lean and best I've tasted

Charming hotel, ideal for Cotswold Exploration
Pros:

Great shower, interesting menu reasonably priced. Plenty of car parking, but tight turns into it. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room.

Some carpets a bit dirty looking, some decor in our room needs a refresh

A great choice
Pros:

The location was great. The single room was comfortable especially the bed. The bathroom was great with a nice hot shower. The view out the front was beautiful. The breakfast was great. The price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The curry night was delicious and great value.

Cons:

There was no WiFi in my room at all. On the first night I could hear the faint humming of a machine (the extractor fan/air con?) all night. The second night all was quiet and peaceful. A chair in the room (as well as the dressing table chair) would be useful.

On the whole, a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Room was perfect for a night stay, and well situated for onward journey north.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better. Choice full english or continental.I asked for just scrambled egg on toast, I had use toaster for toast, egg arrived before toast toasted. Not convinced scrambled eggs were made from fresh eggs, possibly powdered, not tasty and left most of it.
Had toast, jam and a cup of tea, Bit disappointing for someone who would not eat a large cooked breakfast,

Excellent value for money, excellent staff attentiveness.
Pros:

In addition to breakfast, we also had evening meals and all the meals were enjoyed thoroughly

Cons:

We were located in room seven. We knew beforehand but we’re disappointed the bed size was standard rather than king. We were further disappointed with the size of the room but proved adequate.
