tolles Frühstückbuffee mit reichhaltiger Auswahl

sehr gute Lage um nach Skye zu fahren

Cons:

Leider bekamen wir nicht das gebuchte Zimmer und damit auch ein ziemlich altes Badezimmer. Das Wasser roch sehr merkwürdig. Das Schlafzimmer lag direkt neben der Abluft der Küche des zugehörigen Pubs. Lüften könnte man daher nicht.
Zimmer lag direkt über dem Pub und daher sehr hellhörig.
Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt leider nicht aber gibt in der Nähe kaum Alternativen.

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Very old hotel and not comfortable at all. The receptionist yelled at us since the bathroom was leaking on the bottom floor. It was not our fault if the bathroom is very badly maintained. The price was just too high.

The evening meal was dreadful- badly cooked & a very poor show for local produce. NOT to be recomended.

Functional hotel that serves better than average food.
Pros:

Room on first night had thin walls and was kept awake by snoring guest in adjacent room. However, staff were very pleasant, food was good both at dinner and breakfast, and the hotel served our needs well.

Cons:

Thin walls! Not much can be done about it I guess.

Decent base or departure point for Isle of Syke
Pros:

Reasonable hotel in popular location (base of Isle of Skye). Very pleasantly surprised by quality of food from what was basically a bar food menu.

Very dated hotel but clean.Staff very friendly .Comfortable bed and we appreciated being able to leave luggage before check in time. Ample choice for breakfast although it could have been hotter
