Paradise Jaco Beach Front

Had a great stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, parking right out front.. super convenient and breakfast was delicious. Hard to beat the location, close to everything and the beach is literally across the street.

This was an amazing hotel with amazing staff. Everything about this place was exceptional!

When we checked in we were not given pool or beach towel tickets. Our room’s safe did not work so therefore we had to hide our passports and hope they would not be stolen. There wasn’t a comforter on the bed. We found it the second night tucked away in a different piece of furniture. In suite 6 there was a nasty hole by the jacuzzi tub. The shower head sprayed water straight into the floor so we had to put a towel OVER the shower head to not flood the room when we showered. There was ZERO staff at the check out desk from 6:00-6:30am and we HAD to leave for the airport to catch our flight and so I had to leave a note that we were checking out. I still have no idea if they got that I checked out this AM. There was an huge spider on a reading light above the bed we killed. Overall, if I could give this place zero stars I would.

This is my 3rd trip to Balcon Del Mar. ( in the middle of a name change to Paradise Jaco Beach). I love that it’s right on the sand. It’s a small resort and by then end of the week you know the staff, they are wonderful. Breakfast every morning included is also nice.

Nice location

The hotel name was not accurate upon arrival, and the builiding was gray instead of orange in the photos, but this is a great place to stay in Jaco! Has 2 pools, but the hottubs are same temp as pools. On the beach.

the room was with light from sun and disturb us to sleep until the early morning( the room has balcony that has no door to closed the room from the upstairs -not secure )

Right across from the beach. Rooms now have TV with Netflix etc and new showers. Breakfast is good. Pools are cleaned every morning. Probably this was my 5th stay here

Location is excellent - better part of the beach (in my opinion), right on the beach, and a short walk from the main strip. This was my second time staying there. It is an older hotel and it's currently going through some changes and renovations. Staff is friendly - no complaints there. However breakfast is no longer a buffet - and takes a long time to arrive. And you now have to wear bracelets like you would at a resort - except it's not a resort and those bracelets are annoying in the water and cause tan lines. We kept taking ours off. Also, one of our rooms had the glass for the shower installed on the wrong side so the water would splash everywhere when you shower - but hoping the renovations will address that.

On the beach!

It was located on the beach just exactly what we wanted. The restaurants close by and the rest of the vanities is not too far out in the town five minutes walk and two minutes by Uber

Location was fine but not enough parking, no closets,
No hand towels, not enough toilet paper for 6 people
Or paper towels for the kitchenette
Good food and good staff

There are no signs with the hotel name. Unless someone points at it you don’t know where it is. I had an argument with some drunk over the parking space. Water barely flowing in the shower. The entire town of Jaco is not neat

I had a really bad experience. I was changed 3 times. We had one of the suites with balcony view. The first room we arrived in the automatic door was not opening so we were locked out of our room for a while. They decided to move us to the room across but the AC was not working on this second unit. They then proceeded to move me to a 3rd room in the upper level however our fridge was not working the entire stay & at that point we were so exhausted from moving rooms & the traveling we decided to stay on the 3rd room. The location was the only convenient part of the hotel & the ocean view. I asked for a late checkout & even after everything we had already gone thru they charged me $50 for the late checkout. Overall not a good experience & no one tried to make it better for us.

No hot water in bathroom. The resort moved us to another room only to have the issue unresolved. This resulted in a poor experience.

Más las habitaciones y el Hotel está viejo, sin remodelar, las piscinas lucían con aguas turbias, donde estabs la ducha alrededor de la piscina se formaba una especie de agua empozada con mal olor y criadero de dengue posiblemente.

Las habitaciones, algo viejas, los baños tenían costras de suciedad, las perillas oxidadas, espejos oxidados, el chorro de la ducha se salís por todo lado, lo reportamos...pero no funcionó.

En fin NUNCA más volvería a este hotel, relación precio...muy caro para ser tan feo.
