Oustanding Hotel
Pros:

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This hotel is utterly exceptional in every way. Staff, bedrooms/ bathrooms ( inc gorgeous toiletries), location and - OH the food! Outstanding breakfast. Best ever in any UK hotel I have stayed in.
Please never change a thing!

Maravillosa estancia.
Pros:

El hotel está súper bien ubicado,cerca de la Royal Mile. Hay supermercados cerca(Tesco,Lidl) y muchas zonas de restauración. Cerca también del Museo.

Cons:

Sería positivo que pusieran "amenities" como cepillo y pasta de dientes.

Lovely enjoyable stay in a comfortable and nice hotel
Pros:

It was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was lovely and spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel was lovely next time we’ll have an evening meal in there. All the staff were approachable and nice. They made a nice gesture with it being our 25th wedding anniversary.

Nothing to not like.

2 nights Mam and teenage son- fantastic trip

The location, room, staff and breakfast were exceptional.
5 minutes from the royal mile, 12 mins from waverly station & new town

Far exceeded our expectations
Went to Grassmarket on the reccommendation of hotel staff and were so glad we didn't miss it.
Within walking distance of everything on the royal mile eg; all types of tours, edinburgh university grounds, mary kings close, camera obscura etc
The best hotel breakfast we ever had, powerful shower, fridge, comfortable beds & chairs, plenty of charging points, 24 hour gym, very safe. The list is endless!!

We enjoyed our stay very much.
Cons:

Would have been nice to have printed out material available in the room re times the restaurant was open, that the wifi was free, etc etc. I realise this info was probably contained in emails/texts you sent me, but I'm old enough to not rely ENTIRELY on my phone!

Smart hotel in the Old Town
Pros:

Nice hotel that feels very high-end, with a great breakfast served in the attractive restaurant area. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is handy for the train station and Old Town tourism.

Cons:

The vent in the bathroom couldn't be switched off, which I thought would be annoying but was fine.

25th Wedding Anniversary
Pros:

Booked this hotel for our 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary. From booking in to leaving it was a wonderful experience. We were in a very clean and lovely room. One of the comfiest beds we’ve slept in on holiday. We booked breakfast and there was plenty to choose from. We didn’t eat an evening meal there but plenty did. A well stocked bar and will definitely be back. Taxis not that expensive to other parts of the town. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Computer hack
Pros:

I have yet to visit the hotel as my booking is next month - I received a what’s app message with my personal details and dates of travel asking me to confirm booking . I contacted the hotel who advised me that best western hotels had been hacked and to disregard the what’s app…. Surely if the company were aware that there customers details were compromised due to a hack. Best western have a moral and legal responsibility to notify their clients..
