We took our 4 year old grandson to Santas Village and Storyland and we booked Hampton Inn for the water slide pool as well as the included breakfast. He absolutely loved the water slides! He only used the small ones but my hubby took time to go down one of the large slides. My only comment for improvement is the bottom of the pool for the little kids is very rough. I advise having the kids wear water shoes as he got a few scrapes on his toes that we noticed when we got back to the room. The blue slide, if a parent slides with a little kid, is kinda dangerous for the parent. I may have lost some skin on a butt cheek when we slid down the first time as the wayer is shallow. Maybe a soft rubber mat at the bottom of the slides? Other than that, our king size bed was comfy, pull out couch did the trick for the 4 year old and everything was perfect. Thank you! (BTW, the McDonald's next door has gondola booths that you can sit in)

The location was great and the kids loved the water slides. The staff was all very nice.
The little kids water slide was broken and the hot tub was not open during our stay. Also, the beds were on a raised platform and slid around at slight movement.
Spent several nights there over the last week. Found the hotel to be a nice value, with a great attentive staff; nice water park and clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well stocked.
The breakfast was hot and the parking lot had plenty of open spots.
Slides were great for the kiddos. Close to the White mountains! Many things to do in the area! Good price!

We were very disappointed with our stay. We paid a rate that was above the average for hotels in the area, yet the room and overall experience did not justify the cost. The hotel itself felt old, worn out, and in need of significant updating.
The room description at the time of booking clearly indicated a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. However, upon arrival, the room contained only a king bed and two chairs, with no sofa and no sofa bed. This was disappointing and misleading, as the room did not match the description provided during the booking process.
One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was because Booking.com listed it as having EV charging available. Unfortunately, this was very misleading. We left our vehicle plugged in overnight for approximately 12 hours and it gained only 8% charge. The charger was delivering 12 amp max and at one point, the charger was delivering only around 9-7 amps, making it far too slow to be practical for guests relying on EV charging during their stay.
The only attraction that seems to generate many of the positive reviews is the small water slide in the pool area for children not enough to compensate for the shortcomings of the property
There were no views from the hotel, despite the premium rates.. There are definitely better options in the area that offer greater value for money
The bathroom floor, tub, and toilet had hair in it when we checked in. Also the shower head sprayed water in multiple directions vs just down at your body. It was difficult to feel clean in that bathroom.
