Great experience at the Hilton airport hotel in Helsinki. We stayed for 1 night before an early morning flight and were thrilled to find out we were upgraded to a room with a sauna! What a great way to end our Finland trip with one last night of sauna in our hotel room. The hotel was convenient though you had to walk a good 5-8min to get to the terminals, including an elevator or stairs so be prepared if you have a lot of luggage.
Hotel is about a five minute walk outside the airport using a covered walkway. We had an overnight layover and decided to stay here. The first signs we found for it directed us to a road, then across a street and up a hill and through a parking lot, but once we got to the hotel we found that it was easily connected to the airport near the bus parking lot. Check in was quick and the man who helped us was very helpful, reassigning connecting rooms for us and our kids when we had been assigned on two different floors originally. The hotel had an early breakfast available that we could have tried to make but we were running late. Regular buffet breakfast starts at 6am. The security line at the airport was the longest I had seen in years so I was glad we didn’t try to rush in a breakfast.

Right next to the airport
Worn facility in need for refurbishing, personnel does not speak local language, gym poorly equipped, dinner and breakfast mediocre but expensive.
