Need clean pool and rooms / lobby office
Flies and bugs in pool
Not clean room
Dirty lobby office
Breakfast, close to Mississippi walking trail, comfortable public seating areas
A bit old, reported they had ping pong and pool but they didn’t
I nearly always stay here when I am in town visiting family. The rooms are starting to look a little used, pealing wallpaper, fraying towels and cracked grout around the sink. But overall, the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, amenities, breakfast and location compensate for that.
I only stayed one night and plan to stay again next time I am in town. There is truly nothing to dislike about this place.
Location and the private patio
The room smelled like weed. There was a bar in the picture, but not in the actual room
Had to change rooms 3 times before getting a room that was “functional”.
Looks super nice . Hot tub was nice
I was eaten alive at night. Woke at 4am. Happened to have a flashlight and looked around and caught a bedbug on me . Took videos of it and pics of my eaten body called the hotel front desk . They came up said yup definitely a bedbug and asked if id just like to check out or move to another room. I said Id like my stuff steam cleaned or washed in hot before i left so i didnt bring any bugs home and they didnt offer that. I didnt even get an apology . They gave me the room for free but that doesnt help my bug bites everywhere that are super itchy. Im miserable!!!
Friendly staff. Good breakfast
Hair on my toilet.
Pool wasn't clean.
Dirt in corners of bathroom
The river an a few good restaurants, close by
Check in was kinda rude, and not interested in anything I was saying, she just wanted to go home as ger shift was over. The incoming 2 nd shift only interested in cleaning the desk. Also, the manger was standing at desk yet not one of them even said hello to me. In the main lobby area several fans pointed to a carpet that was saturated, with a very large water bubble crack visible in the ceiling. Appeared very unsafe, when I inquired to the desk attendant, she blew me off saying just a little water leak no problem. Appears to be a very big problem. The rooms were kinda drab stuffy mediocre clean. What happened here!!! The bar/grill never once opened. And the pool area that was the center point. When the kids were little is now dilapateted and dirty the big hot tub is always closed. The big beautiful rustic charm that we looked fwd to over so many years as a fun family getaway. Together. Gone, fading away like an unloved ancient relic. Sad actually. But looks like no one does care and either extensive repair or bulldozer:( Stoney Creek is no more. Very disappointing.
The room layout and the location of the hotel
The breakfast was lacking. The hot food was room temperature at best and most of the flavored drinks were out and just water. There was a decent selection but nothing would get restocked once the food ran out after the second time it was refilled. The room we had was very nice and clean but the door wasn't fully secured. The door either didn't fit correctly in the frame of the actual frame of the door was off. From the bottom right corner up to the door handle there was a 2 or 3 inch gap. You could fully see in the room and see out of the room. It was a holiday weekend and the hotel was busy and didn't try to change rooms. We were definitely safe in the room and never felt uncomfortable but that was definitely an issue.
Family room size was nice!
Pool band to wear on weekends. Someone had threw-up in restroom. Had not cleaned up. But front desk was aware of situation. Breakfast could have been better. Asked for blankets ? They said they didn't have any?
