Nice breakfast and pool was not bad because was empty when we got there.
Lack of maintenance in the room, in the bathroom there were many things broken or just stuck, the carpet in the room was very dirty especially in the coffee area.
Very noisy throughout the night, it sounded like a generator or some other device running.
The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast.
No lift - but they reassigned our rooms to the ground floor. The showers are over-the-bath type and our friend found this just too difficult to navigate.

Was very little parking but only because was a coach trip staying
Very cosy loving with a lovely warm fire and plenty of board games for the family to enjoy. It was a fantastic backdrop for some quality family time.
Gym and jacuzzi were not fully operational, perhaps we were there out of season but these was missed.
The breakfast was good with a reasonable choice. The location was nicely placed at the bottom of Lake Windermere for local sight seeing. The hotel also had a small swimming pool for guest use.
The changing facilities at the swimming pool let it down. There no lockers for belongings and the door on the changing didn't shut or lock properly and a bit too public.
Comfortable room, quiet at back of hotel. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

stayed at the hotel a number of times never had a single issue it’s clean great food and nice bar but what really makes this hotel is the staff everyone always pleasant and nothing is to much for them from reception to the bar to the restaurant to the guy who cleans the pool yes there are so called better hotels in the area but you can’t put a price on quality staff keep up the the good work we will be back again soon

Great 2 night stay in a superior, within the original building, 4 poster bedroom.
The room was ginormous so was the bathroom. Bed super comfy, lovely 2 big windows, corner bath with shower. Lots of hot water and clean.
Good wifi but also good signal to hot-spot.
Breakfast was lovely, hot and fresh though I was always down first at 7.30 Fri and 08.00 Sat.
Dinner was lovely too though service slightly slow but nothing to get upset about when on holiday after all.
Retreated both nights to the lounge and fire. Perfect!
Had no time to use swimming. Corridor was slightly noisy when people walked past but that's to be expected with an old building.

The cabin was lovely and cosy, and I especially enjoyed the hot tub. It made the stay very relaxing and was a great place to unwind
To be fair there wasn’t anything I disliked over the blinds being a bit broken so didn’t feel like i was being covered
Just spent 4 nights at the Newby Bridge Hotel on a coach holiday. Unfortunately I was taken ill on second day and the hotel were wonderful going above and beyond, everyone was so kind. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean, the food in dining room was excellent and all staff friendly and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend.
