Wouldn’t recommend, upgrade to the next hotel for the extra money
Pros:

The location was the only positive, it’s right in the middle of the stockyards

Cons:

The room smelled of smoke upon entering, the whole place felt like a motel and for the price we were expecting more. The bedding was two sheets covering a thin duvet and it felt very unclean. The staff weren’t friendly and I wouldn’t be back

Great hotel in perfect location, just needs a decent bathroom.
Pros:

Bathroom is extremely small, can't close the door without scooting out of the way. They added small bath mats to the showers because of slick floors.

Decent hotel, GREAT location.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and check in was easy. The location was the best thing about this hotel, easy access to everything in the stockyards, also parking was easy. Shower was hot and stayed hot which was nice.

Cons:

The beds could have been comfier. The rooms and hotel all need a little updated, especially for the price.

Great Location and Exceptional Service!
Pros:

Location was PERFECT. Walking distance to all of the attractions we had planned: Joe T's for lunch, Billy Bob's for free line dance lessons, cattle drive, John Wayne Museum, etc. Breakfast was great - waffles, cereals, yogurt with toppings, donut holes, breads, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, and we loved that they had tortillas and salsa to make breakfast tacos which added to our 'Texas' experience. The room was quiet and the front desk staff was 10/10 amazing! Especially Nathifa - thank you!! All of the staff we met was friendly and welcoming but Nathifa went above and beyond helping us get checked in. Smartly, the toilet and shower are separated from the one sink/vanity area which allows someone to use the sink while someone else is in the shower/toilet area. Very happy about that!

Cons:

We didn't mind at all but others should know the rooms are older - shower/tub combo with curtain, older carpet, etc. There was no fan in the bathroom which was a surprise and should be added. There is a train that passes by somewhere in the vicinity that is fairly loud, however the white noise from the air conditioner kept that from being a bother at night. Overall we were very pleased with the location, staff, and cleanliness and were easily able to overlook the age of the room.
