Everything was great except for 100 deposit they held without telling me then telling me it will be 3 to 5 days before I get it back
Easy to get to and near things I was visiting
Wonderful staff, newly renovated and comfortable rooms and great breakfast. The new showers are amazing.
The outside could use some updating and check in desk area could be more prominent and inviting.
This is a much older property that is being remodeled —the rooms are done. Many upgrades.
The bed certainly wasn’t nice plus mattress very hard.
The room was clean.
Breakfast was a joke. No breas, no working pancake.
The room was new re_done. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Things are being remodeled and things were under construction. The green paint in the hallway turned me off! This is an old motel being fixed up. Didn’t like the location. The hard surface flooring in the room was new and clean but cold.
I hadn't stayed there in a few years and really enjoyed the upgrade to the lobby, but especially to the room. Tons of modernization has been done and really allowed me a great nights rest.
Breakfast was pretty a typical of a stay at a budget hotel, but it has always been like that there.
My experience at Sunflower Inn was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered.
The condition of the property was concerning from the start. During my stay, I observed what appeared to be cockroaches in the room which I caught and confirmed with Google lense. This immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. When I brought these issues to management's attention, I expected professionalism and a sincere effort to address the problem. Instead, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of accountability.
What made an already unpleasant situation far worse was the behavior of the manager. Rather than listening respectfully to legitimate concerns, the manager was dismissive, rude, and openly disrespectful. I left feeling that my concerns were not only ignored but that I was treated differently and with less respect because of my gender considering a horrified male guest stepped in and had vastly different treatment. The attitude displayed was unprofessional, condescending, and entirely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing leadership role.
While cleanliness issues can sometimes occur at any property, the true measure of a business is how it responds when problems are reported. In this case, the lack of accountability, poor customer service, and disrespectful treatment were far more troubling than the physical condition of the room itself.
I cannot recommend Sunflower Inn to anyone seeking a clean, welcoming, or professionally managed place to stay. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage travelers to look elsewhere.
The hotel is under renovation and though our room was renovated, the rest of the hotel wasn’t. Also, one staff person handled the reception desk as well as the breakfast food and the service suffered for it. Breakfast wasn’t very good.
Rooms were decent
Fraudulent charges. The entrance is disgusting, smelling gross, the pool had no hater, the people in the parking lot looks like gangbanger. Not a good place to take your children. We were here for a tournament and my friend also booked two rooms as well as myself and they ended up overdrafting him $1700. I won’t give it back, but now he has to cancel his credit card.
The showers, amazing!!
Still under remodel
The general manager (Mr. Mayur Patel)was very nice and helpful. He tried really hard to make our one night stay very comfortable.
The whole property which was huge, going under remodeling/ construction.
