We had a nice place to stay for the night.
Pros:

It was clean. Front desk was friendly. We received a text to be able to respond to if needed.

Cons:

It was really noisy. We were in room 125. We don’t normally stay on the first floor. That may be normal for first floor.

They said that we vaped in the room and charged me 250 dollars and we don’t even vape. Will never stay there again they just ripped me off

Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. The AC unit was not noisy which was very nice! The whirlpool was also amazing! Also after a day of riding horses, they actually have a boot brush thing out front to clean off your boots. It was a nice touch!

They Cancelled and still had to pay
Pros:

Unfortunately the hotel canceled my stay and since I booked and paid with a 3rd party I still have to pay for the stay. And the hotel never responded to my email, voicemails, or phone calls.

Extremely underwhelming

Tub in certain rooms and indoor pool

Cons:

The tub was dirty (specs of something in the floor and hair visibly in the jets/drain) there was something brown smeared on the wall by the coffee maker, I paid $5 extra for high speed internet and couldn’t access it on my device, there was what I’m assuming was a bulky humidifier/AC in the room and it was inoperable due to the “full” light being lit up bright red. It was so full of water that it spilled out on my feet when I emptied it. The pet fee cost almost as much as the room itself. Which shouldn’t have been charged, as my dog was working and I had the paperwork to provide, but I was told over the phone didn’t matter because “the pet rooms take longer to clean.” There was a large group of over 10 people in the pool making it impossible to even enjoy that amenity. I can only assume they weren’t guests as they drove up to the back and all walked in the unlocked door into the indoor pool area.

This was an extremely expensive hotel when you factor in the location and lack of attractions/amenities.It’s very well worth the 40 minute drive to stay in Granbury and travel to just Stephenville for whatever reason brought you to the area.

I chose to stay at the Hampton because it was suppose to be a better quality of hotel. I would have been the same off staying at the Super 8 or Motel 6 and wouldn’t have even spent 1/3 of what I paid here. Sucks I paid extra for a nicer room and had to clean it before I could enjoy it.
