We decided to break our trip along the Pacific Coast Highway with a couple of nights in Paso Robles. We loved the area and the hotel - it's in a great location (short drive into the charming downtown) & the facilities are excellent. It was very hot and we really enjoyed spending time at the pool. Breakfast is outstanding, loved making our own waffles! We had a one bedroom suite - it was very clean, spacious & had a very well equipped kitchen. Happy hour with free local wines & beers every evening was a lovely touch. Staff (specially manager Victor) are friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Walk-in shower was much appreciated. Tubs are difficult to step over safely. Casual & comfy breakfast area. Landscaping was beautifully kept.
Would have liked a hand held shower head. The 2 chairs in the room were not terribly comfortable. A chair & ottoman to get one's feet up after a long day would be welcome.

This was my fourth visit to this La Quinta and, as always, very enjoyable. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, the hotel itself is well maintained and it's pet friendly. I really love the larger suites and jacuzzi tub. This is my go to stay whenever I'm traveling to the central coast.
The La Quinta in Paso Robles is one of a kind. Our room was amazing. It had everything we could possibly want! We were lucky enough to get what essentially is a studio apartment in the secondary building. It had a full refrigerator, full oven, full microwave, dishwasher and all the plates, glasses, knives and forks. You could possibly want. Great space with a lovely balcony. Overlooking the canyon behind.
The staff that welcomed us was amazing. We were traveling with two dogs and it was so convenient for us. Their dog area is also quite large which is unique for any motel.
Breakfast was full with anything you could possibly want including not just waffles but also pancakes! The icing on the cake is that at 4:00 in the evening they have happy hour which is free beer and wine. Who has ever seen that at a motel. The pool area is beautiful and the grounds well kept. You could live here! If you are traveling to Paso Robles, do not miss this one. This should be your first choice.
Beautiful, very clean & large room. Beautifully Remodeled and up to date. Breakfast was very good too. I wish the other La Quintas were as nice as this one. This was the Best La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at!!

Too many dogs in and on property, slight smell dog poop on property, twice people with dogs in kitchen during breakfast.
It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast food was great!
