We enjoyed our stay at the Butler house.
Pros:

The breakfast was wonderful and the location was close to everything. The bed was very comfy. Our room faced the garden and even though it was winter it was very pretty with lights and the grass was still very green.

Cons:

The choice food choices at the evening meal time. The toasted sandwich was over toasted. The soup was just ok.

Very nice staff but unfortunately the room and the food left a lot to be desired

Close to the city, everything was within walking distance

Cons:

The room was in the basement and felt a bit claustrophobic, the breakfast on both mornings was not that good, the full Irish was not tasty and the porridge was undercooked

Upscale spot for adult lodging close to castle + dining
Pros:

Proximity to castle was great, 2 minute walk, if that! Walking to dining great, 2 minute walk. Free parking appreciated. Room was enormous for 3 adults. Extremely comfortable.

Cons:

Breakfast was good, not great. Coffee was weak. I expected an additional table of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. Did have a tiered tray of basic bread and croissants for our table. Staff very nice and helpful with parking + info. Took a couple of passes around the hotel to know where to park. Upscale lodging for adults, we just prefer more casual lodging.

colazione in camera insufficiente. dimensioni della stanza insufficienti. nel periodo estivo la struttura è troppo calda. hall inesistente. manca il parcheggio anche per lo scarico bagagli.
