Charming but Badly Insulated
Pros:

Charming inn with a lovely view

Cons:

Walls are thin and you can hear the TV next door.

No heating in the room and only one cover = cold room.

Altogether, the hotel needs to be better insulated !

Well worth a visit
Pros:

Staff were very good especially reception on arrival.location was excellent. Good parking.

Cons:

Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner mould on seals...tiles could have had a wipe over but rest of room good

Friendly comfortable stay.
Pros:

Our room was very comfortable and it had a lovely view overlooking the river.
There was a large selection of tasty food for breakfast, both hot and cold.
The location was very good for our needs and being pet friendly was exactly what we required.
The staff were friendly, thoughtful, helpful and very accommodating.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like.

Cons:

It’s tired and in desperate need of updating. It’s very dusty and the shower isn’t the best. The bath panel is coming off and the toilet seat was loose and the toilet was also leaking. Food not the best in the Tanners bar, my lasagne was all pasta and no sauce. Holes in carpet

An ideal location to visit Kendal.
Pros:

Bedroom with riverside view. Lots of storage. Good car park even for large car. Bar with terrasse over the river. Good breakfast.

Nothing much. A bit dated but adding to the charm.
