Location was good and reasonably priced by Geneva standards.
Not very comfortable rooms and beds
It was close to the railway station.
The room appeared to be a secondary property run by a larger hotel chain. It was around the corner and quite spartan but provided all we needed to sleep the night and return to the railway station first thing in the morning. The taxi fare was high as there were a lot of one way streets and the driver needed to do long loops to reach the address.
Clean & comfortable, inexpensive
As first-time visitors we did not know it was situated in Geneva’s red-light district. It was extremely noisy during the night making difficult to sleep
The easy access and flexibility on check in and out
Location was good, but noisy on Saturday night.
Streets below was very noisy at night. Because windows were opened (for cool air. The weather was very warm, no air-conditioning). I couldn't sleep well because of the noise which went on till the early hours.

El apartamento, aunque pequeño, está muy limpio. El personal del la recepción es muy amable, servicial y educado. Además, la ubicación es muy buena, ya que està muy cerca de la estación de Cornavin y muy bien comunicado con todos los puntos de interés de la ciudad. También puedes desplazarte a pie hasta el centro. Por lo que considero que tiene una muy buena situación.
Los contrastes del barrio... Había mucha diferencia entre la zona del paseo del lago y las calles que llevaban más hacia el interior de la barriada. Aunque dentro del mismo barrio, el paseo junto al lago contaba con bonitos edificios, ofrecía una panorámica inmejorable de la otra orilla y de las montañas, mostraba un ambiente festivo y bullicioso, pero popular y simpático, y parecía una zona segura. Mientras que en calles que llevaban más hacia el interior de la barriada, donde se encontraba el apartamento, se podía ver gente de aspecto menos "recomendable", mayor suciedad, contaminación acústica, etc.

Está todo muy bien
The security. We had to pass through three locked doors before entering our room. We especially liked this because the neighborhood was not as secure. The prostitutes in the next block were not what we expected and we saw a drug deal happen two blocks away. We liked eating at the local restraurants and walking to the Cathedrale Saint Pierre, the lake and Old town, and the train/bus station was an easy distance. The air conditioning was an added perk since the summer days were hot. We had stayed in other locations in the country without air conditioning. So it was nice to come back to a cool room.
The neighborhood. We felt safe in our room but walking through the streets to get to it didn't feel comfortable. I am glad we were senior citizens without having young children with us.
