Good Place for a few days stay
Pros:

The location was central to plenty of eating and shopping areas.

The room was reasonably large for 2 beds with a decent sized TV.

Block out blind for the window.

Easily accessible gym and pool

Cons:

The kettle was under the TV. Seemed abit unsafe to operate with the steam.

The doors were heavy/stiff to push open.

Pillows and beds were a bit too soft. If you have issues with your back, might not be comfortable.

Again, we love the place and will continue to return.
Pros:

There is nothing more for us to say about The Palmer Collective - this is our choice of stay when we visit Townsville as it's close to everything, including Qld Country Bank Stadium. The food is great, and personal favourite for a coffee.

Cons:

Being critical, there was some mould on the ceiling of our room (Room 208). On this topic, the cleanliness could improve. Otherwise the facilities were good. The pricing does get a bit crazy on event weekends - if this could be managed it would be great.
