Good location, but let down by noisy rooms..

Cons:

I've stayed at this hotel several times and have previously been very happy. This time as a different experience. The room I was provided was very noisy. Plumbing from the room above running constantly, which was super loud. The doors to the rooms do not stop the noise from the corridors, which was very loud all night with people coming and going, and slamming doors. Bit of a shame, as had been good previously.

Pros:

Great location. Very convenient for our function at the Townsville Yacht club. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our first floor room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, shower was great and toiletries were lovely.

Shout out to Maria who helped me consolidate my room when I needed an extra night stay on short notice and Augustin who arrange the extra night stay within a day.
I travel to Townsville every three months fir work and will be staying there for all future trips.

Great experience, will definitely book again.
Pros:

Very clean, great onsite parking, beds were so comfortable, quiet rooms, complimentary items (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, bottled water) were appreciated. Restaurants downstairs, walking distance to stadium.
