Ok stay but rude receptionist ruined the stay
Pros:

Location was good. Plenty of nearby places to get breakfast and avoid the disgusting overpriced buffet breakfast provided onsite.

Cons:

There was one particular receptionist who was extremely rude and unhelpful. The only time she was mildly pleasant was when here supervisior was around. She just wanted to sit and chat to her receptionist friend and seemed really inconvenienced by guests. She had a smug condescending look on her face when she wouldn't let us check in early despite being Accor members. We pushed for late check out and another staff member said we could have early checkin and late check out as Accor members but didn't communicate this with the housekeeping staff and they continually knocked on our door until we eventually left. Breakfast was sad and pathetic and overpriced. Someone needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs.

Great hotel - awful bed.
Pros:

Hotel was lovely, staff were great, food was amazing. The hotel room was lovely, perfect size and had everything I needed.

Cons:

The bed was horrible. VERY hard and uncomfortable. The quilt was so think it was so cold in the room, the heating was so noise I couldn't have it on. The pillows were way too big and lumpy. The TV in the hotel room also kept turning off every half an hour. Room 357.

Not good value for money
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and worked.

Cons:

On arrival, there was a staff member being trained on reception, he was very pleasant and welcoming but the blonde lady training him was very stern and hostile. She was not polite and was extremely impatient with him.
When we got into the room, we discovered that the bathroom door did not even shut!
The bathroom was generally clean. But there was hair on the floor, the towels looked very creased and not well presented.
The kettle lid would not shut so I couldn't make a cup of tea.
The beds were pushed together to form one bed, when we'd asked for a twin room.
I asked to be moved to another room, and a different member of staff moved us ( to room 132) and this time the bathroom door did close, but once again there were multiple hairs on the bathroom floor. The kettle lid flew open when boiling, meaning it just continued to boil until I closed the lid, which was very dangerous. Just awful.

Not as good as expected given the price
Pros:

Good pressure hot shower
Always good when you can open the window for fresh air in the rooms
12 noon check out very helpful
Fresh fruit and yoghurt at breakfast

Cons:

Some horrible breakfast ingredients - tasteless sausages, cheap bacon that actually still had some bristles attached, cold and grey scrambled eggs. Toaster didn't toast properly. Very poor quality bread. Rank coffee. 'Juice' tasted of slightly coloured water.
Breakfast staff were really morose and looked very badly done to - I know its not a great job but I have done that kind of job a lot and really hope I didn't look as if I was doing everyone a favour just by turning up. Or maybe someone not treating them well at the hotel making the so fed up?
The room lighting is really bright so not at all cozy.
Was a bit gross when going to bed (not really late, maybe 11pm) to see that guests had put their room service food out in the corridor to be collected and you were still walking past the same trays all congealing the following morning when you walked to breakfast at 9am. Maybe someone could clear them at some point overnight?

Awful, rude staff and not worth the money
Cons:

Rude front of house when we arrived, no greeting or even hello. Bathroom door wouldn’t close in room so I requested a new room. Front of house was immediately argumentative and told me there were no rooms available then came back ten mins later with a new room…no apology or even acknowledgment. We left our bags with reception after check out and when we came to collect them one had been opened as the zip was open. Rooms smelt weird, the bathroom is like a plastic capsule, reminded me of bathrooms on trains.
