The room was far beyond expectations.
Great stay. All was solid
What a beautiful hotel, everyone was so nice and loved our room
Excellent experience! Rooms were really unique, and the atmosphere was great! The restaurant had great drinks and great food as well. Definitely will stay there again as my first choice.
everything great except noise
asked for a quiet room and were placed directly across from the maids room and beside the stair door to the parking garage.
The decor was very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast both days was hot and tasty. Staff cleaned up asap when someone got up and left. our room was a king size bed with Jacuzzi. The room was very nice and quiet with the busy street right outside our window and Jacuzzi tub was nice. Lots of lighting and hot water was definitely not a problem. The walk-in shower was very large and accommodating, but when we came back for our second night after being out all day, the bed was made, but I had to go down to the office to get more coffee pods for the morning room coffee, the dirty coffee cups from the morning were still in the sink. Was in the Jacuzzi tub for a second night and there was a film around the tub from the bath beads they supplied. Are they supposed to clean the tub everyday? I don't know. The only tissue box in the room was never replaced. The 2nd night stuff is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I would stay here again. Alot of places to eat close by/walking distance. Every place we wanted to go was about 1/2 hr away in all directions.
Loved the art, the room, the renovation with exposed brick and beams.
Bar staff could have been nicer at closing time.
The resturant was nice and I was glad there was covered parking
Our room had no heat, we were told it was booked so we couldnt change rooms and they would bring a electric heater which took 2 hours to get to us. It was 10:30 when we got it and we didnt feel comfortable sleepign with it on so it was 55 degrees in our room all night, we woke up at 5 am and left. we had planned on staying but couldnt bear the cold and wanted to just go home. So I paid $280 to stay in a freezing cold room from 5pm check in to 6:00 am check out. NOT great
The free breakfast was plentiful and quality. Gorgeous hotel. Very safe
Restaurant for dinner looks amazing.
My husband and I are locals. We bought a gift certificate for a one night stay at a benefit auction for a local nonprofit. We had no idea that this gem was so close to us! The room was beautiful with lots of special touches and creative decor. Bed was comfortable. The wood beams in the room added to the character. Comfortable sitting area, rose on the bed with chocolates and turn down service. Nice toiletries included. We also had dinner at John J Jeffries, which is connected to the hotel, and it was delicious. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or a convenient place to stay if you want to visit Lancaster City. Highly recommend!
Lovely boutique hotel with well-appointed rooms and comfy beds. The staff was very responsive to requests for additional bottles of water. Great location too.
My husband and Iive locally and enjoy a night away once a year to this hotel. It has everything we enjoy! We will definitely be back!
Great location with free parking. I appreciated the turndown service with chocolates. Beautiful historic building.
every thing was great aside from one thing. house keeping knocked on the door in the morning even though the do not disturb sign was out.
Love it all. Personal touches. Decor. The best
