All the staff was so warm and welcoming
There was nothing not to like
Good value for money and easy access to Shrewsbury.
Breakfast area was a little small and ran out of items very quickly.

Rooms were a little tired looking a bit old fashioned compared to other Holiday Inn Expresses we have stayed in. Gents toilets in reception were a disgrace in that there was no water running into urinals making a very bad smell.
Firstly the location was on a trading estate and bit out of the way. The room was old and tired, furniture chipped and marked. The bathroom was worn and clean on the surface but on closer inspection was dirty. The shower was like showering in a cabinet very small and dirty around the seals and door. My bedside shelf had not been cleaned and had ring marks from a cup. The breakfast which was included was poor. The food was of poor quality and the scrambled eggs were powdered egg, the bacon tasteless, hash browns were soggy. The hot serving dish was broken and one of the guests was having trouble with it - a member of staff came over and said I suppose we had better get a new one - i doubt if they did anything about it as they already knew about it. The cereals were put out in big bowls uncovered which I don't think is hygienic. All in all it wasn't a pleasant stay.

Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful - from checking in to checking out; every interaction was positive.
The room was clean and a good size, however the curtains need a wash.
The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were horrible, none of it was very warm, and it was just very limited in both quantity and choice.

Finding the hotel,being on a business park with many side roads all with same postcode there needs to be signage indicating hotels location
