Tired hotel
Pros:

Convenient location, price reasonable, room clean

Cons:

Small breakfast room, not enough room. No food during day even though menu in room saying order any time. Hotel looking tired. Breakfast was fresh first morning, dried up on second day. Not much choice of food, very poor. Short staffed

Good stay in perfect location for our trip & will definitely return in the near future, because it’s reasonable for
Pros:

In a convenient location for our stay, staff welcoming & friendly, breakfast buffet was great, with plenty of hot & cold food available,
The room was nice & clean, but we had an issue with the toilet, not being able to flush it properly & when trying,it was very noisy & the mattress & pillows were far too soft for our liking, which we’ve never had an issue with, on previous visits, this was pointed out to a member of staff, who said he would get someone to take a look.

Cons:

The toilet was very difficult to flush & making a terrible loud noise when trying, this was brought to the attention of the receptionist, who said he’d mention it to a member of staff, so hopefully they can get it sorted for the next occupant,
I found the mattress & pillows far too soft , this stay, which I’ve not on previous visits, but I appreciate it’s personal preference & not necessarily an issue,
On a negative note, when we were having breakfast in the onsite restaurant,a female member of staff had an issue, constantly playing with her nose, rubbing her fingers and hands over it, as though she had a cold, I noticed her doing this while talking to a customer, it was very off putting, as not hygienic & she was dealing with the food products & condiments etc, this to was brought to the receptionists attention.

Pros:

The Holiday Express was very reasonably priced. Clean, comfortable and very pleasant staff.

Cons:

Good choice at breakfast but it would improve greatly if we could have a choice of eggs. The scrambled eggs let the rest of the breakfast down as does the sauces. We need HP and Heinz Ketchup please.
