Good breakfast , good location
Cannot walk around hotel, particularly at night...no footpath and lighting inadequate...There is ongoing construction activity next to hotel and throughout the night it was noisy..could not sleep at all.
A really nice hotel with good rooms, good service and amenities that makes Chennai accessible.
We stayed for a week and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a perfect hotel to return to after exploring the busy city of Chennai.
We would really reccomend the rooftop restaurant Above Sea Level at evenings!
We also got really nice help from the concierge Naidu who arranged taxi, booked arrangements and reccomended places to visit who made the stay alot better.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine: comfortable room, good location and a decent dinner buffet.
service experience was disappointing. At reception, we were offered an additional package under very unclear conditions. We were specifically told that some benefits, including drinks and a foot massage, were complimentary, but after agreeing we were later asked to pay for things we had understood to be included for free.
The whole process felt pushy, confusing and misleading, especially as several staff members became involved. For a hotel of this standard, prices and inclusions should be explained clearly in advance, without pressure or surprises afterwards.
To make matters worse, the restaurant manager was also very rude and handled the situation in an unnecessarily unpleasant way instead of trying to resolve it professionally.
Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout the stay. The service was prompt, and the overall ambience was excellent. Food need to be bit improved.

Good service, like a breakfast. One thing sometimes it provides a apple or welcome menu in room that's feel good but I don't know why it's not there every day. I dayed for 3 days for 4 times and it was there like 50 % of time. Service from staff and reception is very good. Rubesh, Roshan helped me with a icepack request helped alot.
Raintree was a fantastic hotel with top notch, attentive service and was quick to execute anything we requested. The food here is the best we've had all over India. The breakfast is our favorite part of the stay here the variety and quality of food, especially for Americans, was pure class.

Reception was good with smiling faces and seamless check in.clean rooms,prompt room service.no noise in the rooms.location is the best part as all happening places are near by.bath and room has good amount of amenities.as it a small property the atmosphere felt a little inadequate.well worth the value for money.the chinese restaurant was unique and excellent.
