The hotel is some 1500 m away from the center, and a few hundred meters from the train station. Hotel facilities and room are well maintained and clean. A good breakfast. Nice and polite staff.

L’hôtel est un bon point de départ pour visiter les îles Borromées
Pros:

Hôtel situé juste à proximité de l’embarcadère. Place de parking . Chambre propre. Bon rapport qualité prix. L’accès à la piscine de l’hôtel Astéria est un vrai plus (piscine extérieure avec transat, fourniture de serviette par l’hôtel)

Cons:

Les volets roulants sont très bruyants, surtout quand les voisins les ouvrent ou les ferment en plein milieu de la nuit ! Pas vraiment de climatisation dans la chambre obligeant à dormir fenêtre ouverte compte tenu de la chaleur

Fint läge nära sjön, lätt att parkera utanför. Mycket god mat på restaurangen rakt över vägen. Nära till färjan som avgick bara några meter från hotellet.

Cons:

Omodern inredning och obekväm säng. Varmt i rummet. Ganska långt att gå för att komma in till den delen av staden där restauranger och affärer ligger.

Merveilleux et bon marché!
Pros:

Tout était parfait, l'accueil, la chambre, le petitt-déjeuner, la piscine, au départ de la balade panoramique piétonne jusqu'à stresa, 15 minutes, superbe ville.

Cons:

La plage proche à gauche de l'hôtel est à éviter, polluée et hideuse. Longez la balade panoramique à droite de l'hôtel, vous trouverez un escalier verd une plage à moins de 5mn de l'hôtel avec une vue superbe sur les îles borromees.

Magnifique région et la visite des îles à ne pas louper

La gentillesse du personnel et la situation calme

Cons:

Juste la situation de l’hôtel qui se trouve à environ 20min à pied de Stresa. Étant accidenté avec du mal à marcher, il n’y a pas de transport public et les taxis inexistants pour dire. Mais l’hôtel parfait!

Pros:

La posizione dell'hotel è comoda per raggiungere le isole e si arriva in centro in un quarto d'ora con una bella passeggiata. C'è la comodità del parcheggio riservato. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Camera spaziosa e pulita. C'è anche una piscina interna, non grandissima ma comoda in caso di cattivo tempo. C'è comunque la possibilità di usare la piscina esterna di un hotel partner. Colazione dolce e salata ricca e varia con ottimo servizio del personale.

Cons:

La vasca da bagno che fa anche da doccia non è comodissima per entrare e uscire.
Non c'è molta privacy nei terrazzini.
